Beautiful little place out by Crescent beach in White Rock. My famjam and I came here for a little late lunch and my sister and I split the fish tacos and fish and chips. Their white fish is on POINT. The fish tacos were a touch spicy but that’s just how I like ‘em. They also make a mean caesar with all the fixin’s.
The menu here is moderately priced and full of delicious looking seafood. Every time my parents have come here they have a real nice time. Definitely will be coming back!

I love Hooked! It’s my favorite summer restaurant. The views are beautiful, especially during sunset. The service is always fast and friendly. They are very kid friendly too, having coloring stuff available. I usually get the fish tacos which are delicious. We’ve never had a bad experience.

Had brunch there I had the fish tacos they were awesome & my friend had the burger & was very impressed, service was great plus they had a good selection of beer & very reasonable prices. Couldn’t bet the atmosphere by the beach would recommend it to anyone!!!

Food was fresh, not greasy and tasty. Had fish tacos. Made a drink for us off the menu. Catered to my allergies (nice to know that the chef has some to so definitely takes care). Came just before the lunch rush and didn’t have to wait long for our food.

This place is great! The location is just by the water and they have a nice open patio. There is a very calm atmosphere and the food is great. Definitely worth stopping by for some Fish & Chips if you are around.

I’ve eaten here just a few times now and the fish & chips were great. Not overly battered fish and oil obviously changed often as chips were great as well. Tender tummys that still crave the classics will appreciate this. I had Chowder. Excellent as well.

Hands down the best fish & chips in White Rock/​South Surrey. Never been disappointed with food quality or service. Perfect location right on the beach, if you’re lucky enough to get a spot on the patio on a sunny day it really makes you feel like you’re on vacation.

Decided to grab dinner here turned out amazing. I ordered the oyster po boy, half a dozen oysters and fish tacos. Wow best po boy I’ve ever had with a nice creamy coleslaw that is not wet. Oysters tasted delicious and fresh. The fish tacos tasted great as well fresh and had interesting ingredients.

My wife and I ate at Hooked Fish Bar, in Crescent Beach, the other day, and generally enjoyed the experience. It’s a nice little place with a patio right on the ocean and has an appealing menu. Service was great but we only give it 4 stars because the fish tacos — which we both had — was short on fish and too heavy on cabbage. Otherwise they were great, with nice, soft corn tortillas and an excellent chipotle aioli, but they needed more fish.

We both had the fish tacos They are fresh tasting, but the fish is overpowered by the guacamole and the cajun seasoning. Portion size was good though. Staff was attentive. We probably should have stuck with the fish and chips. In the sunshine across from the beach, how can you go wrong?

The fish and chips were great! Fresh and perfectly cooked. The staff were really friendly too! Perfect deck on a sunny day to look out and enjoy the water and the take out option is a bonus. We’ll be back!

I had the baked cod, my friend had fish and chips. The fish was AMAZING, the quality was top notch. The battered fish was not too heavy or greasy and the tartar sauce was amazing. The coleslaw was fab too.
It’s a small place and it is winter so we’ll be back in the summer, they have a great patio and large sliding doors that will open up when weather permits.
Next time would like to try the fish tacos

Apparently this restaurant just opened under this name, and I hope they stick around! Grab a seat on the patio overlooking the beach, a cold beer and some great fish and chips, mussels, and crab cakes, and enjoy the sunset or simply people watch and you cant go wrong here. Nothing too fancy but a perfect fit for the little beach town of Crescent Beach. The owner and staff were very friendly, and the owner was a treat to talk to. If you want a place to do a bit of work over a beer and a sunset they also have free wi-​fi.
