Hallmark Card Shops

Bought the last Wizard of Oz ornament here for my mom’s birthday. After she opened it the ornament didn’t work, no matter how many batteries she put in it.
We went to a Hallmark in Langley and tried to exchange it. We were told that we would have to go back to the original store as Hallmark’s are a franchise. (btw the 2 girls in Langley were kinda abrasive and rude considering I was pretty sweet and just asking).
Anyway I called the White Rock location and spoke to someone who said that they could exchange it for the display as long as I had the receipt, etc, etc.
I went down a few days later kinda worried by the attitude I had got at the Langley store but the 2 ladies at the White Rock location were wonderful. They just exchanged it right up and I was on my way in minutes.
My mom now has a new addition to her Wizard of Oz collection (she is a major collector). She is happy and I am happy.
