I’ve been here multiple times and I swear I’ve never left disappointed. First off, I live for their banana bread. Seriously, this stuff is amaaaazing! It’s studded with chocolate chunks and you can really taste the banana. The texture’s pretty on point as well. The one gripe I often have about scones is that gross taste of baking powder that’s often left behind, along with that nasty sandpapery feel stuck to your teeth; Fieldstone’s cranberry orange scones don’t and I’m grateful for that. Their blueberry coffee cake is pretty bomb too, especially the streusel topping. My mom decided to buy a their chocolate truffle cake for New Years only to have everyone realise that nobody really likes chocolate cake. Despite this, I can still appreciate a well-baked cake and this was halfway there. I say this because the upper layer of chocolate truffle was really smooth and not overly sweet but the bottom cake layer was really stiff? Stiff is honestly the best way I can come up with to describe it. Lastly, be sure to get their challah bread — it’s especially good toasted. All in all: Bit of a hidden gem of a bakery that really needs more exposure.

I wait all year for their Italian panaforte, I give them out for gifts and everyone loves them. Something in between Turkish delight and Christmas cake. Everything else is wonderful as well. Anything I have tried I have loved.

This bakery is one of the best if not the best in the lower mainland. You feel like you are walking into a French bakery. The smells and the selection always keep you coming back for more.

A hidden away gem. I’ve driven through this intersection hundreds if times and have always thought it was just a bread place. It’s actually a bakery with lots of delicious items. Try the gluten free hazelnut cookies, the chocolate cake, the orange cake, and cinnamon bun. Still so many things I need to try. For anyone headed through to Crescent Beach this is on your way!

This Bakery is the best I’ve ever had in Canada, reminds me of my first morning in Paris where the chocolate croissant I ordered still had liquified chocolate from the morning bake. The milk chocolate cookies are soft and in the morning with that liquid chocolate. The cakes, the sandwich bread, the granola, the croissants This is a first class bakery, I haven’t found anything else yet that comes this close to the quality!

How has no one reviewed this place yet? Hubby and I are in town for the hols and we were charged to pick up some bread from this bakery by my MIL. Always happy to check out a new bakery, I all but swooned upon entering this establishment. The breads! The tarts! The cookies! The cakes! The SMELL!!! Aaahhh… I bought a loaf of the lemon rosemary pugliese, a loaf of holiday bread(kind of like stollen), and a ginormous piece of the orange cake. Everything looked wonderful and the ladies behind the counter were smiling and helpful, even though the queue for the goods was going out the door. GO. EAT. BEHAPPY.(and…Happy Christmas to all!)
