Established in 2012.

Heather Gittens, RMT developed Bodhi Tree Wellness Centre as a progression of her now nearly 18 year career in manual therapy and education. As a previous business owner and ongoing clinician, it was important for her to create a warm, clinical, professional place of healing and rehabilitation in her community of Surrey, BC. Gathering like minded practitioners who are passionate about what they do was a key goal in the creation of this centre, which took some time but was well worth the effort to find the right people.

Business Owner

Heather Gittens (formerly Inglis) is a Registered Massage Therapist who graduated from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in 1997. Her ongoing, advanced, continuing education has included numerous courses over the past 17+ years, allowing Heather to focus in the fields of Craniosacral Therapy, Fascial Release Therapy & Visceral Manipulation.

Visceral Manipulation is of particular interest as it is so profoundly effective in treatment for many common musculoskeletal issues, although not commonly thought of as originating from the organ or organ systems. Heather is committed to learning as well as educating and continues to study & teach within these areas.

Heather has been teaching Continuing Education workshops to other therapist for about 13 years now in the areas of Fascial Release, Craniosacral Therapy & Visceral Manipulation. Educating others is a passion for her but also inspiring in her daily practice as an RMT.
