History

Established in 2011.

Erica has over 20 years experience in the hospitality field. She has two diplomas from Nursing and Social Work, where she helped out in her community. She has a passion for reaching out and loves people.

Erica travelled the world with huge companies such as Club Med in Florida, and Princess Cruise Lines, and the Rocky Mountaineer Train where she developed great customer service and experience in the field of hospitality. When she came back to Vancouver she decided that owning a business in her area of speciality would be fun and rewarding.

She loves to plan and organize parties and weddings, and has taken all the wine, fun, and culture of other countries and brought them to the table to create Black Cat Bartending and Event Services.

Business Owner

Erica is definately an outgoing, people person. Ask anyone who knows her. Erica started in 2000 as a DJ in and around Vancouver, soon she got hired on at Princess Cruise Lines as the DJ and shortly got promoted into Assistant Cruise Director she did this for 5 years. She travelled all over Europe, and the Caribbean Islands, where she learned about culture, food, and hospitality of other countries. In 2007 Erica moved on to work for Club Med in Florida, USA where she was a Youth Activity Coordinator, she wore many masks working all day with youth then in the evening Erica taught Salsa and Line Dancing which she loved. In 2010 – 2011 Erica went back to College and recieved a Diploma in Social Work, she worked for the Union Gospel Mission. However her true calling was to entertain and make parties happen. So she followed her dream and started Black Cat Bartending and Event Services. She hopes to create a Brand for herself and do what she loves.
