I have a bit of a mixed review on Basant.
On the one hand, I had an absolutely unreal customer service experience with Ronnie while buying my vehicle. He was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to help me out.
My truck finally blew its transmission and I needed a vehicle right away with the snow coming. Ronnie sent a courtesy car to my house for me to drive the 24 hours until I could make it to Basant, and he even dropped it off himself! I had a terrible car buying experience my first go round 4 years ago and I made it clear to Ronnie that I was going to be a bit of a hard ass on him. Not an issue at all. He had an answer for everything I asked. I would highly recommend him if you are looking for a vehicle!
The downside…
The woman doing the insurance at Basant was incredibly unprofessional, rude, and an absolute nightmare to deal with. She messed up the insurance the day I took the car off the lot and it took 3 days of hell to get it all sorted out. She could not have been any harder to deal with if she tried. It left a very sour taste in my mouth. If it wasn’t for how amazing Ronnie was I would never go back there because of her alone.
The service department is great in person, however they can be incredibly rude over the phone. It might be a back of house type of mentality, but they should still offer the same level of customer service as the salesmen do. In my opinion.
All in all, I would definitely recommend Basant Motors. Just make sure you go see Ronnie so you get a proper car buying experience.

Bought a car from this place. Drove it off the lot and noticed that the brakes were really making some bad noise. Went back to the dealership the next day and they refused to fix the problem, saying to us that they could not find anything wrong. A week later I had to replace the front brake pads. Then, later on found out that the vehicle was in a significant rear-​end accident prior to us purchasing, dealer claimed that the accident was only minor. (our mistake for not looking into it further) I DO NOT recommend this dealership. — A side note, the review from ‘ZK’ totally looks like a fake review.

The Worst Worst customer service when it comes to problems with the car they gave my brother. First of all they sucker him in buying a car not even worth the value and then promised him to exchange the car for another one in 3 months which he did but they never told him that they will transfer the balance over to the other car balance and they took his first car and never minus anything from it so he was owing 15,000 on a used 2000 civic … That’s a scam BEWARE do not listen to their promises and when he drove this car in the first few weeks the engine light went on and he took it back to Basmont service to fix and they gave him a car to use in the mean time they haven’t called him back for almost 1 week so he had to call to see what’s happening with his car and they said yup come pick it up … So he did it was good for a few days and then the light come on again now he lives in Vancouver they are all the way in Surrey that’s almost 48mins to get there he called again and they never returned his call and his car today is in my buddy shop to get repaired as the motor and transmission is done, it is proven that no one has ever looked into the engine but just turned the engine light off with the machine so if they would of fixed this problem he won’t be trying to fix this car and I am trying to get a case involving this as he shouldn’t be paying for something that could of been done on their part and they want car payment and harassing him to pay up THEY Call for money but ignore u when theirs a problem… NO I would NEVER recommend my friends or family about them … I will be reporting to government agents… This is wrong PLEASE do not buy anything from them they sell u broken promises and really good dreams again they don’t care about u but only for ur money.

I just bought a car and revived great service from Nasar Khan. He went out of his way to make my purchase, one that I was comfortable with. I recommend this dealership for your next used car purchase. Zareen Khan, no relation to Nasar lol
