This place has the best Donair in town. They have a variety of afghan food they sell which also taste great. I usually eat the donairs and order take out to bring home. They also sell afghan bread and which is baked in house. I would definitely recommend this little hidden gem.

Very flavourful beef Donair. Highly recommended by this consumer. They also offer chicken and lamb as well as afghan baked goods and other things. Staff was friendly and helpful. Place is tucked away so one needs to keep an eye out for this shop.

This is the best donair place in surrey! The service and the food is always great. The afghan bread is super yummy too, try to get it when’s it’s just been freshly made. And my absolute favorite here is the lamb shank with rice. The portion is big enough for dinner and lunch the next day, and the spices and diced red onions on top just make the whole dish perfection.

I was temporarily working near this place for a few weeks, and I must have went 5 – 6 times. Very good mixed shawarma platter and amazing lamb shank. Huge portions(good enough for two meals) and great prices(lamb shank w/rice and salad = 11.00) have caused me to keep coming back even though I no longer work in the area. There is limited seating, but this is mostly a take out joint. A hidden gem in Whalley!

The food tastes ok. Nothing to call home about. Over-expensive. Go eat at Gulberg near Kwantlen U, you get much better food, bigger portions at reasonable prices. Even the prices of the Afghan food restaurants in Downtown Vancouver are not this expensive.

Went in for a take out and had the donar kebab, was probably the worst I’ve ever had, the meat was like charcoal, the guy behind the counter was to busy on his cell phone to worry what was going in the pita, .Will never go there again.

me and the wife have stopped in 3 times for lunch and usually have the donairs but took the son and his wife and the grandson last nite for dinner, the others had donairs which were delicious as usual as well as being huge dtr in law had a medium and said when it arrived«thats a medium!» and she didnt finish it. The son shares a large with the grandson. The lettuce tomatoes etc all tastes very fresh. I had the meat filled raviolies which were just great the dough was really plump and soft and the filling was excellent and abundant and the spices on top and sauce were just right. I dont know how they serve such great food from such a tiny place as its a bakery in the back. also had the potatoe pancakes to share and everyone liked them. remember the grandson is a 7 year old and not that easy to please when it comes to food and he ate a lot. went back the next morning to get some baclava and raison filled pastry twists for new years party tonight.

Giant donairs at great prices! I had a large lamb donair and I wasn’t expecting much for the price($ 5.50) but I was really amazed at how big and delicious it was. I took a few pictures of the store, because it had an artistic, locally-owned look. I was going to take a pic of the donair, but I ate it too quickly! The donairs come in traditional Afghan bread(Nan-e Afghani), which is baked daily. The bread is better than the normal store-bought pitas that most cheap donair places use, and they give the wrap a light taste. There are a bunch of other traditional Afghan dishes, and I’ll have to try them when I return. I definitely recommend this interesting shop in an off the beaten path location; and, even if you hate it, the prices are cheap!
