Solid 3.5 stars, must be a time limited offer, or shows how tough business is now in the fast food business— $ 5 combo for Mama Burger, fries and a float! Should be a 4th star for offering drive thru as Vancouver doesn’t have this… thank goodness in a way lol. But the entire restaurant closes at 11pm, well, it is indeed off in the middle of nowhere. After all, when I inquired about corporate catering, she flatly said no but I know a few DT ones that do. Free wifi here, a stand alone building with about 40 seats.

One word: YUMMY!!! This A&W location is located by Highway 10, and seeing the A&W sign, I decided that I should pull over to sit down and eat. I ordered the Papa Burger with Poutine and some Root Beer The Papa burger was juicy. I never had poutine, and when I tried it, it tasted so good. The staff here was so-so. At least they were not jerks, so that was good. I love A&W so much, way more than Whataburger or Five Guys in the States.

I walk to this A&W once a week for my «cheat» day at lunch and it’s always pretty busy, the staff do a great job multitasking considering how busy the drive-through is and they never mess up my order even though I always customise my burger(I don’t like mayo)… Owner is friendly too always says hi to me even when I ran into him outside if work! I always eat in at A&W because then you get the frosty mug! More appreciated in the summer, but still nice even in the winter. It’s fast food so what can you say but I find it is way less greasy and doesn’t sit like a rock in your stomach like that other place with the golden arches ;) I come back every week… Consistent and good quality + taste. That’s all I can ask for :)

Homestyle Sausage n Egger or Ham n Egger comes with tomato, cheese and whole wheat bun. Toasted too! Less greasy than those other fast food places. Great quick affordable breakfast. The service here was decent. The place was clean. They must’ve read the other review and did something about it. Maybe the morning crew is more efficient than the afternoon crew?

No milkshakes? Perpetually messy tables? For a new place? Really? The chubby chicken I just got = way, way too greasy. Ambivalent staff who enjoy texting more than serving make going elsewhere easier.
