We live and play here and hope you will come and experience some of what the coast has to offer.

The Upper Deck is the best priced accommodation on the Sunshine Coast. We provide bedding, internet, a full kitchen and a bbq on the large deck plus tea, coffee and a few other basics.

Come for a night, stay for a week, on the Coast you can find relaxing if that is what you need or adventure if that is what you seek.

History

Established in 2002.

Started renos in April 2002 and opened to the first customers in April 2003 after many set backs with the building department and such. But we kept pushing forward and have been building the business up ever since.

Business Owner

Tanya was raised on the Sunshine Coast, moved to New Zealand in 1992 looking for adventure. 10 years later resettled into Sechelt after seeing a large chunk of the world. Travel is a large part of life still but now it involves a little person in tow.

In addition to the Upper Deck Guesthouse, Tanya also owns, Upper Deck Painting which keeps life busy.

On a personal side, Tanya has been a Rotarian for 10 years all that time working in Youth Programs.
