History

Established in 1987.

Since 1987 Wayne Schilstra has been helping thousands of clients throughout Niagara, Hamilton, and Haldimand achieve their real estate goals. Having lived in West Lincoln all his life, Wayne has a broad knowledge and understanding of the area and market place, and a natural connection to its people.

In March of 2013 Wayne’s nephew, Steven Schilstra, joined the Wayne Schilstra Team as a licensed Sales Representative. Steven lives on the east mountain in Hamilton and knows the Hamilton/​Stoney Creek market. He is also a fully licensed carpenter.

Paul Cann joined the Wayne Schilstra Team as a licensed Sales Representative in March 2015. Paul is hardworking and conscientious, and understands the importance of listening to the client’s needs. Paul is a lifelong resident of Beamsville, where the Cann family name is well known.

Wayne Schilstra was born and raised on a dairy farm in West Lincoln. He has lived in West Lincoln all his life and just recently built a new home in Smithville. In 1989 Wayne married Christine Bouwers. Together, they enjoy life with their four children, Justine, Taylor, Morgan and Wesley. As a family, they enjoy playing and watching sports, card games and taking walks with their dog, Darcy. They regularly attend Lakemount Worship Centre in Grimsby where they’re involved in the life of the Christian church.
