At M2 Decks & Fences our goal is to help you to design and build your outdoor construction projects. Whether it’s a new deck, fence, shed, or a special project — we are here to help you transform your project from concept into reality!

M2 specializes in deck & fence construction, and it’s employees have over 17 years of experience in carpentry and construction. All M2 employees produce products which are of the high quality that M2 expects & demands. This comes from a combination of schooling, apprenticeship work, & practical experience in their trades.

At M2 we are of the belief that quality trumps everything else, and our goal is to produce the highest quality products at the lowest possible cost to our customers.

History

Established in 2011.

M2 Decks & Fences was founded in 2011 by brothers Joe & Bob Murphy. In 2011 Bob was a graduate of the Construction Techniques course at Niagara college and Joe was a business graduate from Brock University, both looking for work. With their complementary skills, they decided to open what was then called M2 Construction Solutions, and focused on outdoor construction. In 2013 Joe and Bob renamed the company to M2 Decks & Fences, in order to better convey to customers what it is that M2 specializes in. Since conception, M2 has completed numerous projects from Waterloo to St. Catharines to Oakville, primarily decking and fencing projects within Hamilton.

Business Owner

Joe & Bob Murphy are co-​owners of M2 Decks & Fences. Joe is a graduate of the Business Administration program at Brock University, with majors in Operations and General Management. Bob is a graduate from the Construction Techniques course at Niagara College.
