A good spot for a quick lunch in a town with very few options. I had the roasted red pepper soup which was tasty(though a fairly small bowl for the $ 4.50 price tag) and my companion had the grilled chicken avocado bacon panini which she also enjoyed, but again, small for the $ 6.50 price tag. The dining area is small and has about 8 bar height tables. The service is counter order and the food is delivered to your table. Our server was pleasant and our meals came immediately though we were the only patrons in the restaurant at the time — it was 3pm on a Tuesday afternoon. One oddity — there are crafts for sale in the bathroom. Hmmm.

We came here on a groupon, but would definitely come back! Their soups(we each tried a different one) were fabulous and warming(we visited on a snowy, chill winter’s day) and their sandwiches we also delicious. I had trouble finishing my combo, and though those who have seen my other reviews will know I don’t have a super big appetite, even my dining companion, who has a considerably more substantial appetite, pronounced himself full at the end of his meal. The food was all yummy, the staff warm and welcoming, and the experience a fun one. Definitely recommended for a refreshingly low-key dining experience in St. Jacobs!
