This person has been accused of showcasing photographs that are not their own by the Photo Stealers website. They have also apparently gone through great lengths to fool photo thievery software.
Do your research and get references before engaging this person, or any photographer, to make sure you know what you are getting.

I’m in the middle of wedding planning and had a bit of sketchy contract negotiation with this company. Having found nothing about them online, I wanted to make sure there is at least my experience available for people that come across him in the future.
This company provides DJ, video and photo services which all appear to be at a very high level on their website at very attractive rates. I got a bit of «too good to be true» vibes from them at first but ultimately agreed to sign with them after some discussions over e-​mail. Some advertising for the company skips the names and uses associated names: Ivar Einarsson, Darren Moyer, Aganienska, DJ jarnstjarna
I received the contract and the terms and conditions are pretty unilateral. How many people sign without reading? eeep! Obviously not written by a lawyer and I don’t suspect the contract would hold up in court (contracting around the law me thinks) but I don’t need bullet proof contracts just fair ones that will hold up reasonably in court if there is an issue on either side that made it that far and I hope they never would.
A statement from the contract:
«Should the event be canceled or interrupted in any capacity during the time in which Ivar Einarsson is providing the Client with the services indicated in this Contract, the Client is still obligated to pay, in full, the remaining balance. No exceptions.»
Combine this with the statements that the deposit was not refundable in any circumstances I became concerned that we weren’t protected if the company canceled on us for any reason no matter how trivial (Washing their hair that day maybe?) and might then expect to keep our deposit with no services rendered while waving a signed contract in our faces.
We wrote this amendment to address that concern:
«If Ivar Einarsson cancels this contract for any reason including but not limited to; injury, death, equipment failure, transportation failure or acts of god, client’s deposit must be repaid in full and outstanding balance waived unless suitable alternative is agreed upon by both parties in writing and in advance of the event.»
Ivar hung up on my fiancé as he was reading this amendment (word for word) and promptly e-​mailed me informing us he is passing on us as clients under Darren’s name. There was no discussion. There was no proposed rewrites. Was there a miscommunication where he thought we were taking him for a ride? Maybe, but I don’t feel it was handled professionally. What legit company would leave their clients with 100% liability and no protection? We are suppose to have blind faith in a company I’ve never heard of while he distrusts his clients enough to need it in writing? If this is a legit company, this is a major reason they aren’t competing with companies in the higher price ranges.
At best this is a story of a communication break down and possibly a terrible business methodology. If someone takes the risk they MIGHT show up and the MIGHT do their contracted job and doesn’t mind that they will pay either way then go for it. The worst case is they are scam artists with no intentions of showing up and fully expect to take all these deposits and disappear into the night before wedding season rolls around. Payment is only by wire transfer, interac transfer, check, cash so there is no protection for you on any front really. Who knows if the address is even real? They were advertising in Calgary with a St Albert address and not asking for mileage fees — no mileage needed to take deposits from home in your underwear and then delete your website come June? Hmmmm…
