Definitely not a great place to sit down and enjoy a meal — it lacks Ambiance. That being said, the food is authentic, delicious and SOSO good. The missing star is only because of the ambiance but I usually take it to go. Don’t skip the samosas!

Eh. I’ve had better. Had the ‘thali’ specials. I’ve had various thalis before and I was surprised to in find that in this place for ‘fish curry’ thali all you get is a dish of 4 pieces of fish and naan. No daal, no chutney, or yogurt. Pricy for $ 11. Samosas to go are $ 1 a piece. Pretty good deal even when they’re mostly potatoes. Curt service. The lady wouldn’t even bother explaining what all the various squares and balls of desserts are.

Were we just hungry or was this the best food I have ever eaten? How did such a small town get such great food?

I’ve been coming to this place for 4 years. Great food for great prices! Cute little restaurant too! Very friendly service. These guys have the most amazing consistently quality food :-) I always have Palak Paneer, but I’ve brought friends who have tried many other things, and everyone loved everything they’ve had. They even have a liquor license! :-) These guys also sell meats, and Indian desserts. Soooo good :-)

Unassuming yet delicious restaurant! Great value lunch specials, fragrant and large portions. The biryani chicken is amazing value at $ 10! Owners are super friendly — and great options for gluten-free. Squamish’s best kept Indian secret :)
