Drive-thru was extremely busy and very slow today. As I mentioned in my previous review, this location has the updated drive-thru with the dual order boards. Today I waited nearly 5 minutes before I could even get to a menu board to place my order. As I approached the order board I got asked to hold. The order taker then proceeds to take TWO orders from the OTHER board before getting back with me. This allowed a vehicle that entered drive-thru AFTER me to get INFRONT of me. At the second window I ask to speak with a manager. A kid in a manager’s suit who barely looked 18 came to the window. I explained my situation at the menu board. He seemed to not really care. McDonald’s has a SYSTEM. This location today was very disorganized. The dual order boards have proven to be more of a source of grief than useful. It’s an idea that may look good on paper but does not work nearly as well in real life. I’m unlikely to return to this location any time soon.
