Sooke 2 For 1 Pizza

We were in the mood for pizza. A guest in the lobby of the hotel we were staying at had a pizza box from 2 for 1 and stated they had it two days in a row. We tried it. Not overly impressed, not much sauce, too much dough. We are used to thinner, saucier pizza. Pizza was piping hot and ready within 20 minutes.

Can’t really rate it. Didn’t eat here. We tried. No seating. It smelled delicious. And they were nice when we asked for a suggestion about a pizza place we might go that we could sit and eat. No suggestions…“There’s no other pizza place”. But the info was given with a smile.

Two years ago when we first moved to Sooke and asked our Realtor if there was good pizza in town, he was very excited to tell us about Sooke 2 for 1, stating that it could even be the best pizza in the Greater Victoria Area.
So, on the cold and sleet filled first night we spent in Sooke, without any heat I might add, we did indeed order Sooke 2 for 1 and have been ever since. Even after moving to Sidney and living here for the past year, we have driven out to Sooke, just for the pizza.
I would absolutely give them a 5 Star review for the pizza alone, but then there is the service, which on our last visit was something akin to going home for a family dinner after you’ve been away for a long long time… and your family actually likes and is happy to see you lol :)
Andy and his crew of engaging pizza floggers have never failed to make us feel like we are a part of the family, and this extends to when we run into them on the street or in the grocery store as well. This is beyond customer service, but more, is relationship building that creates customers for life… and it’s all natural, not contrived and very very authentic.
And so, for the pizza… thin crust double pep and mush or their hawaiian… nomnomnom. I especially LOVE their Meat Lovers as I am a total carnivore, however, their menu of creative combinations seems almost endless, and there is definitely something to appease any type of zah afficianado.
And so, as we find ourselves on the cusp of a move back to the Wilds of Sooke, we are happy indeed to be back within a 5 minute car ride of Sooke 2 for 1!
