I have been impressed with Tweed prior to becoming a medicinal cannabis patient and I was excited to try their production line. Their marketing and packaging is excellent. The website is user friendly and relevant. It is easy to navigate and easy to shop. Prices are the highest with Tweed by comparison to other producers. This likely is attributed to the aforementioned marketing and packaging. As for the product, I have tried two varieties. Highlands (East Coast Sour Diesel) Indica THC: 22.4% CBD: 0.05% Upon opening, I smelled the typical notes one would expect, quite light and refreshing. To my disappointment, there was a hint of mildew by comparison to my personal experience. For the investment they’ve made in packaging, one would hope their marijuana would not dry out as quickly as it did. I was unimpressed that after 36 hours of well-intentioned storage, things had dried up considerably. I have a second container that is still sealed and refrigerated. If it is different, I will update this review. Balmoral (UK Cheese) Indica THC: 20.7% CBD: less than 0.05% The nose on this one is light. It does not present a deep skunky odour. Somewhat woodsy in scent with a hint of cedar or hardwood. I found this to be more pleasant than Highlands from both an aroma and smoking experience. This container did not have the same hint of mildew which likely made a world of difference. I’ll be honest. I was disappointed with my first experience from Tweed. For the price I was paying, I was expecting top of the line with everything they do. Other producers’ products have not dried out nor have they come with any unexpected odours. Time will tell. I’m looking forward to trying more strains and I am not completely off the Tweed Train. With that being said, my next order better blow my mind.
