Summit Learning specializes in developing individual learning programs for students of all ages. Summit was founded upon the belief that all students have the ability to learn and succeed. The Summit Method takes the whole individual into account so that students learn skills that will assist them well into their future. Students gain confidence and self-​esteem while increasing critical thinking, creativity, problem solving and learning skills. Students at Summit discover that education is fun while developing their own passion for learning.

History

Established in 2001.

Summit Learning is an Ontario based company that has been operating since 2001. The brain-​child of former public school teacher and Hamiltonian John Spencer, Summit was originally created to assist adults with their return to the workforce, providing everything from academic upgrading and computer training, to adaptive skills and employment-​specific skills programs. Summit has since grown to 16 learning centres in 15 cities throughout Ontario. Summit now specializes in offering innovative after-​school tutoring programs for preschool, elementary, high school and college students.
