I’d rather give 3.5, but will round up to 4. Food was really good and service was prompt, however, it was marginal in attitude. The server just seemed to either not care too much or was poorly trained.

Every time we come to the island we stop here for breakfast. Their Benny specials are always worth a try. The best I’ve had

When we asked about a lunch menu at 1030 in the morning the owner instead of being polite and saying we don’t serve lunch yet said«you know what time it is»? Is it 11? we don’t serve lunch yet. You can have a menu but I’m not going to produced it till 11 o’clock! All he had to say was we don’t start serving lunch till 11 in a nice polite voice.

There are very few times in my life where I can say it was the best breakfast I’ve ever had. If I could eat there every day and not get fat I would. We got on the waiting list. There were six parties in front of us. I thought it would be a long wait but was about 10 minutes. My husband got the uovo Italiano eggs Benny. The bread was so soft. The flavor were amazing. Scrumptious. It was a great blend of ingredients. I got the huevos nuevos eggs Benny. Delicious as well. The chorizo was excellent. The hollandaise wasn’t too much. It was amazing. I finished it all!!! My parents got the waffles and then the veggie omelette. I say go for the Benedict. It was amazing.

Great breakfast in Sidney. Could be the best breakfast in town, but I don’t know — after my first time here, I keep coming back instead of trying other places. I frequently stay in Sidney on work trips, and generally have one of the breakfast specials at 3rd St Café in the mornings. Eggs Benedict are their specialty, the menu has quite a variety already, the daily specials are very creative, and have always been excellent. Half orders are an option, as is an order of fresh fruit to substitute for the potatoes. That is difficult, as both are very good. The staff is very friendly and pleasant, and if you come alone, you might be able to avoid the wait and sit at the counter. The restaurant is very good to overnighting airline crews.

Great breakfast meals. Coffee is unfortunately not so good(french roast only, no espresso drinks).

Solid breakfast for two. SERVICE: 3.5. Though it became busy after we arrived, the wait team made sure we never had to wait on service. And the three women on duty worked as a team; all three of them helped us interchangeably. TIP: Even during off-season, arrive before 8:30am to avoid the breakfast crowd. We arrived about 8:35am(on a Tue in second week of Sep) and were able to seat quickly inside. Afterwards it filled up — inside and outside. AMBIANCE: 2.5. Comfortable, with a 70/80s rock station playing quietly in the background. «Radar Love» with eggs. FOOD: 3.0. — 3.0: Italiano benedict. Got a half-order with fruit, which was plenty. — 3.0: Pancakes and eggs. — 3.5: Coffee — regular and decaf. PLUS: both dark– and medium-roast coffee are available.

Amazing! Service was great. My husband had the best eggs Benedict he has ever had. I felt the same way about the scones! Do not pass this place up!

What an awesome breakfast/brunch place! All day breakfast Incredibly friendly staff and an awesome menu. We had such a hard time deciding amongst the benny choices, omelettes and burgers. Daily specials looked amazing too. I ended up with their Brie omelette which was an awesome combo of Brie, pears, bacon and potato. Your choice of home fries, salad or soup as a side. Hubby had their burger special. One of the highlights is their pretzel bun for their burgers. Nice casual atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this place if you’re in Sidney!

We had breakfast in this popular local diner while on vacation in Sidney. It’s a small spot with some outdoor seating which is nice on a good day. Even on a Tuesday morning we had to wait a bit because this is such a favorite for locals. Overall tasty breakfast diner food — quite typical selection of pancakes, French toast etc. with a few daily specials such as a skillet mix. Wish they had more coffee options than just drop coffee.

Every time I’ve been here, I’ve had a great meal. Space is limited, and you may have to wait, but it is worth it. Their bennies are as close to food perfection as I’ve had, with how their flavours work together to be greater than the sum of their parts. They’re great with kids, giving crayons or cars to keep them distracted. Good service and great food.

OMG the crabby benny was amazing! Best egg benedict I’ve ever had in my life, I seriously couldn’t get over how good it was. One star down for kicking an old man out of a big table to sit us(we were 4)… that was fucking rude(I offered to pay for his coffee, which is what THEY should have done). I can’t rave enough about the food though.

Kinda expensive, but still delightful. I recommend any of the eggs benedicts. I had the Crabby Benny. Costs $ 13 but tastes like $ 8 – 10. They would have received 4 stars if they threw in a free drink/coffee and/or a bowl of fruit with my meal.

Holy hell! One of the best breakfast joints I’ve ever eaten at. They have multiple types of eggs benedict. I got the Crabby Benny. It’s eggs benedict with a crab cake on it. Delicious! Not sure what my wife’s was called, but it was delicious too. We ate with some friends and we all got something different and everyone claimed theirs was the best. We are definitely going back as often as possible.

I have been here for both breakfast and lunch, both were good. The portions are a tad small and the prices a bit high, but the food is very fresh and tastes great. The bennys are really good, espcially the home-made hollandaise. The restaurant is open for breakfast and lunch; they close around 4 every day.

Love it! Super friendly staff, quick and excellent service. Good food, done as I want it, kind of like having breakfast at home. Great place to get a real– world feel of what life in Sidney is like, authentic, warm lovey– doveyness! Best and most favourite joint in town!

I love brunch so my first order of business on any holiday is to locate the best eggs benny around. Most locals will agree this is the best breakfast in Sidney and I’m very much a fan of their crab benedict and their italian benedict. The potatoes are moist and cooked perfectly, the english muffins are high quality and the eggs are cooked to order just how you ask for them. I really like their hollandaise sauce too. I’ve been in for breakfast 4 times in the past three weeks alone and each time had great service. The portions are on the large side so if you’re a light eater you might want to team up on heavy breakfast things or plan to taking some home. I’m not usually a big fan of drip coffee but the dark roast here is fine though not really something I’d make a point of ordering.
