Worst phở place in sherwood park/edmonton. I ordered chicken vermicelli and seafood phở for the gf. The chicken vermicelli had probably half a breast of chicken, if that, the phở had cold noodles which kept a bowl shape as if just taken out from the fridge. We had to ask for sprouts and sauces which you usually get as standard at every other phở restaurant. Will not go again. Décor is nice though, service was okay.

Would give 0 stars if it was an option. Ordered the lemongrass beef bowl. Cant say enough about how disappointed I was in the half bowl being vermicelli noodles, the other half bowl is bean sprouts and the ten overly thin pieces of flavorless burned beef jerky on top. What a joke, I can only hope this place goes out of business soon!!!

In all honesty… it’s probably only a 2 star really… but I would go back for lunch again, so 2 stars seems a little harsh. The service was really slow. Which is odd in a Phở restaurant. There was only 3 or 4 other tables there during lunch hour… which I thought was pretty strange. The décor is very modern and nice. I got a regular steak phở. Overall… good enough to order again but incredibly lack lustre. The beef was already overcooked by the time it made it to the table… and of course it continued to cook in the broth. So it was pretty chewy. And something happened to me here that has NEVER happened to me before with phở. Not only did I finish the ENTIRE bowl… but I did not feel full when it was gone. I think the broth/meat/noodle ratio is off a bit because it just was not satisfying.

I’ve eaten here 3 times now. I started at 3 stars and it’s just gotten worse every time I’ve gone. The décor is 5 star, the food is pretty dismal. I always finish my broth and the last bowl I had the broth was so salty it was inedible. I’m also a fan of vermicelli bowls, but they use almost zero marinade and are big fans of char. Char without marinade is not a good combo. It just tastes burnt. No caramelized goodness. Finally, I tried the beef stew twice… a shocking lack of beef cubes. Besides the shockingly small amount of meat, the cubes themselves were tiny — barely a centimetre cubed rather than the standard inch. Truly disappointing. Too bad the food doesn’t live up to the décor. Unfortunately, this restaurant doesn’t make it pays the three strikes your out rule for me. Even a two for one coupon might not get me back through the door.

My first time to this restaurant. Modern/cold furnishings — okay. Ordered #18 phở with everything. Had to request sprouts and spoons. I enjoy phở all the time but this one lacked in flavour and quality. Tasted like what dishwater might taste or perhaps a canned phở broth… watered down. The meat was so dry I could barely swallow it. The meatballs were full of what appeared as grizzle and had absolutely no flavour. The first time I have even left a full bowl. This has got to be the worst phở I have ever encountered. When asked how our meal was we stated it was not great, the meat dry and tough and the waiter just smiled and walked away. No comment even when picking up the full bowl back to the kitchen. I would not return attempt another dish. I would not recommend this restaurant. Terrible phở.

I am not going to bother to comment about the wallpaper but I will say the food was not great. Spring rolls came out cold. Soup was not hot and the wontons were cold in the centre. Main dishes were cold as well. Very disappointing for a new place. Sat by the window. Very dirty. Will not return.

This was my first time here and I’ll be back. I asked the server what he recommended and he suggested the house special phở noodle soup — it was delicious. The service was great and the establishment was clean and inviting.

This was my first time visiting the newly opened Phở in Sherwood Park. As indicated by the name, this is a Vietnamese restaurant serving mainly Phở and other soups, with a few combo plates on the menu as well. The restaurant was quite modern in the décor and this was reflected in other details as well, such as the fact that servers took orders on iPads. My group ordered the salad rolls with peanut sauce to start. The rolls were a little bland, but the sauce was flavourful. The peanut flavour was strong but savoury. For entrees, we ordered the beef satay soup and the seafood soup. At first, the server brought over a chicken phở instead of the seafood soup, but the mistake was corrected within minutes. The beef satay soup was spicy with generous portions of beef and noodles. The portion was quite large; I wasn’t able to finish the entire dish. With the good food, good service and reasonable prices, I will visit this restaurant again and I recommend it to others.
