I started talking to Ian by phone because we got a budgie and had no idea how to make her happy. Ian spoke to me for over a half hour, and gave me good tips on how to work with my bird. Ian patiently accepted numerous calls from me, and never asked for a single penny for his effort. We got another bird, then decided to try some intensive training with Ian. We took our two birds in for a week and let Ian train them. They are already stepping up on the hand, Ian says.
Some businesspeople are in it for the money, some are doing what they love. When people do what they love, they tend to do it very well, and that’s the case with Ian at Meika’s Bird House.

Great loving people who care for so many unwanted or I’ll birds. They are truly amazing for what they do. I adopted my bird from here and he is an excellent little bird. If I ever need help with my bird they’re always readily available! I highly recommend their adoption program for anyone wanting a little feathered friend!
