I’ve never been to a Freshii before, but I was really excited when driving down Broadmoor I noticed that there was a new location going in. They just opened last week, and I think things have been a little slow for them so far — mostly because they’re one of very few businesses open in this new strip-mall type area, as there’s still a lot of construction going on. But a co-worker and I drover over in the rain on Tuesday for lunch. There was only one other customer in there at the time. They’re definitely still working out some kinks, and I hope that they’re able to speed up a bit once things start getting busier. But since the place was practically empty, the wait wasn’t too bad. The guy working the counter(not sure if he was the owner, or manager or what… but he seemed to be in charge) welcomed us and made some great suggestions, after learning that it was our first time there. We both opted for the Tex Mex burrito since it was a cold day and we were looking for something a littler heartier than a salad. I added chicken to mine and she added steak to hers. The prices for adding protein was very reasonable($ 1.99 for chicken and $ 2.49 for steak). Honestly, I’d probably skip the protein next time. It wasn’t really necessary because the rest of the ingredients were so fresh and tasty. The pico de gallo specifically stood out and that alone will pull me back to this place. it was SOGOOD! nice and light and tasty as it should be. I will 100% be back often for lunch. I look forward to making my way through their menu over the next few months. I’m so happy to see that there is another healthy option in the Park! For now, their hours every day are 11 am — 7 pm, and their official grand opening will be on September 26th.
