Om nom nom nom! That about sums it up! Best burger I’ve had in a while. Go eat, you’ll see :)

Pretty good. Standard fare as the«new world» burger joints go. Doesn’t really stand out anymore as this market has exploded. No nonsense menu. Can get pricey fast. Burgers get messy fast! Décor less than amazing. I enjoy taking the kids here from time to time.

Seriously as good as it gets for a non-fast food burger. A strange niche in the world of fast/and tasty! Get into five guys for tasty burgers and tastier fries. Warning. Don’t get the cajun fries without a sample. I’ve found it not as good as the normal fries. I“m not going to talk about the burgers, because the burgers are exactly what you would want.

Dirty as hell no one here except my self and three other people. Staff seems to think standing around talking is more important then a clean restaurant. I would suggest if you like the food try a cleaner location. Lazy staff dirty store health board should take walk through ! Wait I understand they where waiting for a young lady to show up because as soon as sh got here she was sent to clean lobby area ! How is that fare when those three boys where standing around doing fuck all talk about lazy

Good food, pretty greasy, but surprisingly expensive. $ 16 for a standard cheeseburger fries and drink

Always a great spot for a quick burger. Not a huge fan of the cajun fries, but simple classic american burger with all the peanuts you can eat. I usually go for the Little Cheeseburger, don’t be fooled, this is still quite the burger. Tons of topping choices, i usually go for the full top row on the menu. Simple quick grilltop burger!

I love this place, both their hamburgers and hot dogs are amazing. The cheese, not so much, too thick and plastic like. I’m also not crazy about the fries, but that is personal taste, not anything to do with the restaurant, I like a crispier fry. I do love the Cajun seasoning though. Very tasty. Staff are all your typical teenager type workers, and the service has always been very good. I ABSOLUTELY love the complimentary peanuts. I think it’s a fun and tasty way to pass the time(not that the wait is long either) til you get your yummy food.

Well we came down to five guys because of all of the reviews, well what a letdown! The place is filthy and the burgers are paper thin with out flavor. The only good thing was the fries. We will not be returning. We were very disappointed!

This was my first time eating in Sherwood Park and it was a real treat! The burgers are everything that you would expect from a home cooked burger and more. I had bacon on my cheeseburger and it was probably the best bacon I have ever had… not greasy or fatty whatsoever! Toppings are free and there are a ton of options to choose from… the only thing I was not such a fan of was the cheese… it tasted like an unusually thick Kraft singles slice. Fries were good as well and very filling. A regular order split between two people is more then enough. If you want to try something different you can have your fries done Cajun style. The only cautionary tip I have to offer about this business would be if you get jalapeño on your burger to be aware they are not the ones from a jar they are the fresh cut ones which are MUCH hotter then the jarred ones. My eyes and nose were definitely running a bit halfway through the meal. If your looking for a good burger and fries out in Sherwood Park be kind to your tummy and check out Five Guys!

My favourite burger place in Sherwood park and Edmonton. The burgers are like heaven and the fries are terrific, every thing here is amazing. It is a bit pricey but it is certainly worth it! I highly recommend it, you will LOVE it I promise.

Only slightly more expensive than your typical fast food joint, the delicious burgers and exceptional fries are worth the drive to Sherwood Park. They are NOT stingy with the fries, oh boy do they give you a lot. I’m not a big fan of the cajun style fries but if you love spicy go for it. Unlimited toppings on the burgers and there are plenty to choose from.

Great for fast burgers. Probably the best tasting and best cooked gluten free fries. It can get busy at times.

I tried Five Guys with some friends for the first time a few days ago, and it ended up not being what I expected. I went in thinking it would be another Fatburger, but it’s actually quite a bit different. They don’t actually have a lot of burger choices, but you can have your burger made with many toppings for no extra cost. A burger, fries, and drink comes out to about $ 13-$ 15 a person, but wow do you get a lot of food! The burger was huge, and the bag is just completely filled with fries. There are also unlimited refills on drinks(which is nice because it took us a long time to get through eating it all). I ended up taking most of the fries home and getting another meal out of them! I’ve always been critical of Fatburger’s prices. But simply for the amount of food you get a Five Guys, their prices are right in line. The burger itself was quite good. They went a little overboard with the condiments, making it messy to eat, but otherwise it was good. Everything tasted fresh. The fries weren’t the best I’ve had, but still decent. Overall Five Guy’s isn’t a place I’d go to regularly(no should you unless you want to be buying a lot of new pants…), but it’s definitely somewhere I’d go back to.

I must get my car steering checked, driving west on Wye Road this afternoon and car took over and swerved into the parking lot of Five Guys Burgers & Fries, in shock I stumble into the restaurant. Forgetting my diet(wait what diet?), I order a burger & regular fries. This was 1230 during the lunch rush, four in front of me, great a long wait, but no my order was in took about 2 – 3 minutes from arrival until I was at my seat with my complement peanuts. In a very short time, had not even finished my peanuts, was that Oder 77 that was called out, can’t be, I still have nuts to eat. But my order was ready, a hamburger to die for, the fresh made fries yummmmm, only complaint about fries, no order size smaller then regular, but I did manage to fight through the order. If you are a burger guy/gal let your vehicle swerve in like mine did, you will not regrets.

5Guys is fast food, done slower… and better. The regular burger is actually a double, and the«little» burger is a single. There is nothing fancy about these burgers, so if you think you’re going for some gourmet burger you should just turn around and maybe go see the folks at The Next Act, or talk to Chef Cowan at Hundred Bar and Kitchen. This thing is juicy and cheesy. Just the way I like it. And it isn’t pretty. It actually looks a mess by the time i’ve finished loading stuff onto it. But it tastes good. Really good. It’s greasy in a way that you know is wrong, but oh so right. Just don’t eat 3 a week and you’ll be fine. You can top these bad boys with any amount of toppings from the huge selections, and I dare you to leave still hungry. At $ 7.50, it comes in right in between fast food burgers and sit down restaurant burgers. The fries are a bit hit and miss here. Everywhere I’ve had them in the states, they are awesome. Here? They’re about 50 – 50. It’s worth checking them out, and just FYI… it’s BYOD. That’s Bring Your Own Defribrillator.

Wow. I was really impressed with the taste of the burgers and fries at Five Guys. They stand head and shoulders above other fast food joints in Edmonton(and area). I went to In ‘N’ Out when I was in Vegas, loved it, and was talking to a friend about wishing we had them here. She said the closest thing was Five Guys, and she was right! I went on a Sunday afternoon around 1pm, and it was busier than I expected it to be. There seemed to be a little bit of organized chaos going on behind the counter, but they must have their system down. Our food came pretty quickly. Now, all the burgers come with two patties as the standard, so if you only want one, order the ‘little(burger name)’. I had a little bacon burger, my husband had a regular sized bacon burger, we and shared large cajun fries — everything came to $ 18. Holy moly, yum. Just delicious. Kind of indescribable, actually, which is a little funny for a fast food burger. It was just so fresh and juicy and actually tasted like something, rather than a slab of cardboard with ketchup on it. The cajun fries were nice, too, although I still want to try the regular fries sometime. Even though I got a little burger, I still couldn’t finish it! I wish there was a Five Guys in Edmonton, but for now I’ll have to settle for hitting this one up when I’m in ShPk. Sure it’s more expensive than«regular» fast food, but it’s also way tastier.

Although on the pricier side of fast food with a bacon cheeseburger costing $ 8.49, regular fries at $ 3.49 and a regular drink at $ 1.99, the food itself is quite good. Regular burgers are actually 2 beef patties so they are larger then a normal burger and you can customize it with anything you want at no extra cost(i added grilled onions and mushrooms to mine) Although I waited to receive the food, it was quite fast for how busy it was. The restaurant itself has a pretty cool vibe to it, with text snippets from reviewers plastered across the walls, big bags of french fries separating the seating from the order line and free peanuts to snack on while you wait. I will for sure be going back for more.

I have read many reviews online(On other sites) about Five Guys Burgers and Fries, and after eating there several times I am surprised by so many people saying it wasn’t as good as they hoped, or that it was too expensive. I can’t imagine the majority of people that like burgers not liking these. I guess the 27 person line up at 11:40 am on a weekday(In spite of it being 2 or more times the price of other places) speaks for itself about the taste. I had the little bacon cheeseburger with only mustard and ketchup, and a small fries. I loved it! The fries are like a real fish and chip shop fry. I can see the size of the bun being a problem for those who like loaded burgers-eating while driving is not an option here. The burgers don’t fare very well after being wrapped in real tin foil. They are very messy as they put ketchup on both sides of the bun, but I didn’t find them greasy at all. As far as the price goes, I would expect to pay a premium for fries and patties that are made in store, by hand, by staff earning between 10 – 14.00 an hour(According to their hiring posts). Imagine how much cheaper machine cut fries and machine formed patties would be. There were 12 people on staff this morning, so It does seem a little slow considering the simple menu. This place is already a hit, it isn’t going away any time soon. It just doesn’t really fit in with all the other burger joints where you can have a combo for lunch for 6 dollars or so.

I’m all for a good burger, in fact, I love a good burger. So, being that a new burger joint opened in the Park recently, I was excited to try it. I have to say, I was a little disappointed after the hype I’d heard about this chain. They’re opening businesses all over the place, including Calgary, but I’m not totally satisfied with what we experienced here. I do have to give the business kudos for moving customers through efficiently. We arrived at around 6:00PM on a Saturday evening and there was a substantial line-up. Even though the lineup was large, we still moved through ordering and getting our meal(take-out) in under 15 minutes. The restaurant was clean and bright, with tons of staff working on at least 12 different stations — all in plain view of the patrons. Everything looked nice and clean. On to the food. Both my girlfriend and I ordered double patty burgers with all the fixin’s(lettuce, tomato, pickles, mayo, etc.). I had mushrooms, cheese and bacon on mine, my girlfriend had just cheese. The burgers tasted good, but I was frustrated from the start. The bun was WAY too small to contain all the burger inside. I ended up eating the last part of the burger with a fork as it had slopped all over my plate. The bun needs a serious re-design. The rest of the ingredients, including modest patties made from what looked like freshly ground beef were quite good. Now, this chain claims to have some of the«best fries in America.» Sadly, I wouldn’t know. They fry their potatoes in peanut oil and I’m allergic. I know I shouldn’t find this frustrating, but I do. With all the people out there who enjoy fries and a good number of them who are allergic to peanuts, this seems like a problem to me. But I guess I shouldn’t feel slighted… I am in the minority on this one. In summary, our experience was just OK. Service was friendly, burger was tasty, but really needed a better bun and not being able to have fries was a let-down. Time will tell if we give them another try.
