We were in Sechelt for a hockey tournament and turned to Unilocal for a restaurant choice. Shift Kitchen did not disappoint! We came just before the dinner rush and the place was full. We saw many people without reservations turned away so make a reservation if you can. Service was great, very friendly and efficient. Burgers were top notch and the spinach salad was delicious!

By far the best burgers I have ever had! I had the exotic mushroom burger and subbed the bleu cheese for Swiss. Oh my gosh!!! So delicious! The portion size was perfect. I got gravy on the side for my fries but the fries were delicious on their own! I also snagged a taste of my daughters veggie burger and my husbands black and bleu burger. Both were absolutely fantastic! Out server was pleasant, attentive and quick! I would recommend this place hands down to anyone!

Amazing selection of food. I’ve been 4 or 5 times and its always good. Definately recommend the burgers, wings, sangria, and tapas appetizers. We went in last night and ordered every appy which was a lot of fun. Everything was delicious. Service is prompt, atmosphere very cool, and prices quite reasonable. I definitely recommend.

Not a lot of options in Sechelt for dinner, so we were relying on Unilocal to find restaurants. However, we drove by Shift Kitchen & Tapas Bar a few times(while looking for cheap flip flops and a sun hat, which were hard to come by after 5pm since all the shops close early — Sechelt visitors beware … but I digress), and decided to give it a try. The atmosphere is a bit of a mixed message — casual(several t.v.‘s with sports on), yet not entirely sports bar either(nice décor and display of wine bottles). The service was attentive and friendly. The bar menu had many options. My sangria was interesting — not like sangria I’m used to(it was very carbonated), but hey, I’m open to new things. We had been overeating on our vacation, so we only shared the soft tacos with prawns and the spinach salad. The tacos were good — fresh prawns in some kind of cheesy sauce … not quite what we expected, but still tasty. I realize a salad may not sound all that exciting, but it was really tasty(and not just because I was jonesing for fresh greens!).
