in Port Coquitlam as DVI Peripherals the company focused on component and PC consumable sales to Government and Business clients. With the advent of the internet a service based business model was created and the business relocated to the sunny and more laid back Sunshine Coast.

Len F.

Business Owner

Born in Edmonton, AB the first 8 years of adult life were spent travelling in various rock bands as drummer. Relocated to New Westminster, BC in 1979 in order to marry and «settle down» Len returned to college and university focusing on accounting and information services. Applying as a bookkeeper to the first independent IBM PC retailer in Vancouver Len quickly advanced into sales and service. After stints with Apple, MS-​DOS and CP/​M system stores he was recruited by a national «mini-​computer» service organization (DataTech Systems Ltd.), later sold to SystemHouse. Gaining familiarity with the leading business systems of the day (Digital Equipment Corp., Honeywell, IBM, Data General) Len was able to leverage the experience into self-​employment in 1989 as DVI Periherals.
