Parker Pet Care

Due to an unforeseen medical emergency involving a family member, I frantically called Parker Pet Care at Keele and the 401 (where I normally board my dogs). Being a long weekend and last minute, they were booked solid… but told me that their other location in Scarborough may have space available. I called and they indeed could accommodate two of my dogs for two nights. Thankfully, both locations share the same database so all my information pertaining to feeding, pet disposition, etc was available to this location.
I never thought of going here as its quite the haul from where I live, but when I arrived I was surprised at how large the space is. The office appears to be a converted home, but they’ve built an off-​leash playground out front, and behind the house is at least an acre or two of space. Back in that area is where the kennels and the doggy-​day care are located.
Dropping my pets off was seamless. The staff were prepared and I was in and out in 5 minutes.
My dogs were booked into a shared pen that had both inside and outside areas. Originally they were booked for 2 nights, but I called while away and asked if they could stay an additional night, as was unable to return to town before the office closed. Staying a night further presented no problems.
When I arrived to pick up my pets, I saw two staff members interacting with dogs in the doggie day care. The dogs and staff looked like they were having a blast. When I went in the office, a cheery female staff member reviewed my dogs behavior (while I was away) and advised me that one of my pets was sneezing that morning (everything was fine).
Pick up took maybe 10 minutes tops. My dogs were returned happy and seem no worse for the wear.
As an added bonus, my 2^nd dog is 10% off (same as the other Parker Pet Care location).
Great staff, great facilities = happy pets = happy pet owners.
I would use this facility again.
