Meet the Business Owner

Bob A.

Business Owner

Bob Almack graduated from Queen’s University with a Bachelor of Science. He obtained his Bachelor and Masters of Education from the University of Toronto. He holds a Specialist in Special Education through the Ontario Ministry of Education. Since 1993 he has been using the Academy of READING and Academy of MATH software to help struggling students.

Bob is a recipient of the Durham District School Board’s Outstanding Teacher Award. This award is presented annually to a teacher who has made an exceptional contribution to the growth of others. In presenting the award Board Vice-​Chair Sherry Croteau recognized Bob’s pioneering work with struggling students. «I want you to know what an outstanding person he is,» said Trustee Croteau. «These are kids that are sitting on the edge of not making it. He pulls them back into the education system so they can graduate from high school.»
