History

Established in 1980.

Dr. Larry Carr started his optometry practice in Port Elgin in 1980 and practised alone until September 2011 when his son and daughter, Dr. Greg Carr and Dr. Kristen Robinson, joined his practice. After the new partnership began, the business was re-​established as Saugeen Shores Family Eye Care. Extensive renovations were also completed to make room for all three Doctors of Optometry and to give the building a face lift.

All three Doctors of Optometry graduated from the University of Waterloo School of Optometry; Dr. Larry Carr graduated in 1979, Dr. Greg Carr and Dr. Kristen Robinson both graduated in 2011.

Meet the Manager

Steph C.

Manager

Steph Carr has been the Office Manager at the office for over 4 years and is continually working hard to ensure the daily operations of the office run smoothly and efficiently; she is also a certified Optometric Assistant.

Steph and Dr. Greg Carr married in July 2011 and reside in Port Elgin with their dog Charlee.
