Great food and atmosphere. Had the poutine burger. Very tasty. Highly recommended and I will be back. Thanks

First impressions revealed a pretty decent interior. I like the festive Christmas lights that they had up. We came in for drinks and tried a rye and ginger(great price compared to Toronto!) at 3.50 each. Also had a strawberry margarita which I did not like the dollop of whipped cream on it. In my opinion, whipped cream belongs on a strawberry daiquiri but not a margarita! I asked for no whip on my 2nd drink. I also tried the Singapore sling which tasted kind of like an orange creamsicle. Hubby ordered a burger with pulled pork on top of it and some onion strings. It was tasty, but I found the patty a tad dry. I ate is his side or soup which, to me, was the best part of our meal, which consisted of butternut squash and apple. It was tasty. We also tried the coconut shrimp which was overcooked. The exterior was a too dark, brown color, instead of the light golden brown that it should be. Also it seemed too greasy which made be believe that they might have re-fried an already cooked batch of shrimp which resulted in the dark color and greasy appearance that I had to press out the excess oil with my napkin. W did not stay late enough to enjoy the live entertainment who was setting up as we were leaving. Decent place with so-so food and beverages, but decently priced.

My wife and I along with our 9 y/o had a great experience here. The service was great! Our waitress was very courteous. The food is outstanding and the portions are very generous. I had the Cajun Creole burger, if you like more kick in your cajun, ask for more. They said many people complain the cajun was too much, so they go light on it. They have many gourmet burgers, I just wish I could try them all. My wife’s southwest wrap was one of the biggest I’ve seen.

In a town like Sarnia, you don’t have a lot of variety to chose from. So when choosing a place to eat, service is one of the most important decision makers. Lizard’s has always had outstanding customer service. Their wait staff and bartenders go out of their way to remember you. They’re friendly and even though they’re human, they rarely make a mistake, when they do they fix it and will go over and above the call of duty to make things right. The food is excellent. I always get their veggie burger, it is honestly the best one I have ever had! Sweet potato fries are amazing, the regular ones are too but sweet potato is my preference. So far on the numerous visits we have made to Lizard’s no one had anything they disliked. Hopefully if you visit you will be lucky enough to see someone order the insanely large $ 30 burger that if you eat the whole thing you get a free desert(not a meat eater but was kind of cool to watch) they stack every burger they have onto this monster, and it was one of the coolest things I have ever seen, especially when the two teenage boys failed at finishing the task! Really great atmosphere, good place to come for drinks at night, just all around awesome!

Took my daughter here for her19 th birthday. Our waitress Katlyn was wonderful. She was very informative about the menu and different drinks. The food was fantastic. We had a couple hamburgers, chicken Alfredo and mussels. Would recommend them all. Parking was a little difficult but managed. Would surely recommend this place and would go back. Thanks for a fun time.

I try and go here every time I’m in town visiting my family. I crave their sweet potato fries from time to time, and so far I have enjoyed everything I’ve tried. The place has a great look, and although I already know the owner personally, I like all of the staff there, regardless. Great, up beat feeling, and I always leave satisfied. Hope to visit sometime soon!

This place is huge and spacious. You don’t feel crammed in like sardines. We went for karaōke and nachos. The prices are a bit high and the portions small. The stage is huge and you really feel like a star singing up there until you are done. I thought it was because we were newcomers but NOBODYEVENCLAPPED!?! Well the next 10 people sang and only their own friends, at their own table clapped so I know it had nothing to do with us. What a strange snobby place! This really has nothing to do with the bar, the staff or the karaōke host but we won’t be back. Not a warm fuzzy place! There are better places to eat and happier places to sing. :(
