Salt Spring Vineyards Bed & Breakfast

I really love this Winery. The tasting is a fun adventure, with lots of interesting types of wine, and paired excellently with locally crafted food. If you are here for the tasting in the summer, it can get pretty busy, but it has a fun buzz even when brimming with people… everyone is excited and relaxed wandering around their little garden area.
If you have already been out in around town for the day, and have stopped by David Wood’s cheese place and picked up some amazing goat cheese, get some bread or crackers, pull out a blanket, and buy a bottle here and sit with your friends in the garden…
I love their motto so much, their bumper sticker is now on my car:
RELAX:THIS AIN’T THE MAINLAND!
well said… oh and when you leave, hit the lavender farm across the street!

This is just a review for the vineyards, which were gorgeous by the way. This is a great place to come wine tasting on the island, as they were the only ones (of the 3 vineyards there) that paired their wines with foods! The scenery was gorgeous and the ladies who worked there were lovely to chat with. And I believe there was no charge for the tasting either! Sweet deal!
The wine was good, as well. Buy a bottle and chill out on their patio with some friends on a sunny day. :)
