History
Established in 1987.
Diane Bibaud started DIANORGUES THE ROCK SHOPPE on January 1987. It started as a dream. Having a degree in classical piano from McGill University and experience in the retailling business, she decided to star her own music store to share and teach her passion with others.
But she got so busy that she had to hire another teacher and open an outlet in Ste-Catherine (South Shore of Montréal). So she openned a 650 square feet store and music school. In 1989, she bought the whole building and expanded to 1750 square feet showroom and more classes. She also added guitar and drum lessons with more teachers.
In 1992, Diane decided to add a second floor to the building for more instruments displays. She also added a service department for several repairs.
Today, continously growing, DIANORGUES THE ROCK SHOPPPE works with fifteen teachers, technicians, stringed instruments maker and products specialist. And we do prepare student for GEGEP and Conservatory exams.
