Pizzano’s Pizza & Donairs

I really really like this place. I am from the states and my wife is from Saint John. I don’t get up often, but when I do always make sure we go get a donair from Pizzano’s. The seasoning and flavors are on point. The meet is cooked really well and gets a little crispy on the ends as they make them. Some like that and some don’t. I personally like it. The portions are great and they provide a lot of variety to customize your donair. It is a small shop. The same man has been working in there every single time I have gone in, very sporadically over the last 5 years. Aside from my mother-in-law’s homemade ones, these are probably the best donairs I have had.
Make sure you come here rather than go to a chain. You won’t regret it.

I asked around in a quest for the greasiest, tastiest donair in the John. This is apparently the best place around, and overall it wasn’t bad. The meat was a bit tough, but the seasoning and portions were great.
The service was friendly and the restaurant is your typical mom and pop pizza joint in a strip mall.
