We have taken the traditional game of indoor mini putt and added a little more character — a split 18 hole course divided by light and black light, inspired by art, this is like no other course you’ve ever played!
Never been to this place and first time visiting here with friends, had so much fun playing together though didn’t win the last one

This recently opened during the summer(or early Spring). I came here with my husband and two other friends for the Couples promotion that they were having at the time. Each couple got a free container of Coconama chocolate truffles. Their most popular flavor is Earl Grey, but I really like the Mango! The staff were very pleasant, talkative, and friendly to chat with. They give you a sheet to tally your scores, and the winner gets a Kinder Surprise chocolate after the game is over. The venue is quite large. When you first enter in, you will see the staff counter. On the right side, there are two washrooms. On the left side, there is a table of Jenga tower pieces, and two pinball machines. I believe they may add more arcade games or other fun things to that area since it was undergoing renovations when I visited during last month. There is a 2nd floor for a party room so if you want to book a birthday with games of mini golf, this is the place! The birthday boy or girl also receives a container of yummy Coconama chocolates of his/her choice. The venue is split into two sections. One section is a lighted mini golf course with artwork on the walls. Once you finish this section, you will enter the glow-in-the-dark blacklight section(this is my favorite area!) If you wear white clothing, you will also glow. Your golf sticks and golf balls also glow. With the loud music blasting, I felt like I was inside a night club and wanted to dance. If you get a hole-in-one on the last course inside this room, you will get your photo taken on a Polaroid and instantly be tacked up on their Hole of Fame at their lobby. Like Melissa C mentioned below, I would like to see the venue increase the challenges or difficulties of the course with a few fancy objects such as a rotating Windmill or some movie slopes. That would be really fun to see in the glow-in-the-dark section! There is lots of free parking, so a bonus for those driving here. I would suggest a bigger lighted sign in the nights so that it’s easier to see, since one of my friends missed it and kept driving around trying to find it at night. This is a fun place to go in groups. Since they close late, it’s the perfect place to visit after a dinner or movie with friends in Richmond. Check their Facebook page and website for ongoing promotions.

Probably one of the only mini putt establishments in Richmond. West Coast Mini Putt is a great replacement for the old Planet Lazer location. I came here with my boyfriend and another couple with a Groupon, which was a great deal to try this place out. Otherwise it’s about $ 14/general admission. We were greeted promptly and it was a casual and friendly atmosphere. The gentleman working there was really nice and explained the rules of mini putt like if your ball is against he wall, you can use the width of your putter to measure it away from the wall, 6 strokes is the usual max, etc… The putter and balls were new, neon coloured, and well-kept. The first 9 holes was under normal light and the last 9 holes were the under the blacklight room. The normal light room was uniquely decorated with artwork and graphics. The blacklight room was my favorite because it was interesting to play«in the dark» and see each other glow like a Cheshire Cat! The artwork was pretty cool too! However, it was this room that got pretty warm and a little stuffy, there are fans but it got a little sweaty especially with the competitive nature of our group! The holes didn’t have anything fancy like a windmill or contraptions to move your ball or huge figurines, but the mini putt course had some difficult corners, slopes, obstacle blocks and awkward angles to keep it interesting. The last hole was special because if you got a hole in one, you get a free game and your picture taken and put on the Wall of Fame! At the end of the game, the guy counted out scores(in his head, pretty quick and accurately!) and the winner got a Kinder Surprise Egg! A pretty sweet reward for winning a round of mini putt. Plenty of parking and the establishment is bright, clean and has a mini fun area to sit and play giant Jenga. There is also a room for a birthday party and 2 large washrooms. Overall, a fun and different activity to do on our rainy or even sunny days in Richmond. Also, check out their website or Facebook page for deals like Thursday Date Night Specials and/or book an event for your birthday, corporate event or just to hang out with your group of friends!
