History

Established in 1985.

It was in the 1970s that David Cooperstone produced his first super 8 film, George the Mouse. Two years later, he began a 9-​year career as a film technician and film teacher. In 1978, David’s film Overlay became one of the top 12 films in the first Toronto Super 8 Film Festival, Motion Magazine also selected it as one of the top five super 8 films of 1977.

David is involved in the videography industry in many other ways as well. He’s been an active member of the Vancouver Video Production Club for 25 years and a member of the BCPVA (British Columbia Professional Videographers) since its inception in 1995. He has served on the executive for the last 13 years and is now President.
