Fantastic! I thought we were going to a winery… nope! it’s a wine store. but a REALLYGOOD wine store specializing in BC wines. so basically, much much better than a Richmond winery! ;p There was a great tasting and the second we entered we were pleasantly greeted by a staff member who clearly loves his wine and loves serving it to people. We had a fantastic tasting, great chat and left with a few great bottles. Would definitely come back.

First of all love supporting our amazing BC wineries, second love the incredible, passionate and knowledgable service I consistently receive there. There is always something new and exciting to try and great tastings planned every week.

Nice specialty wine store in Ironwood mall. The staff is knowledgeable and have generous pours for sample. They are helpful for someone like me who is new at trying wines and gave me suggestions to suit my taste. Prices are competitive.

This is a great wine shop, the staff is friendly and know a great deal about their wine selection. I wanted to put some things on hold and come back at the end of the day to pick them up and it wasn’t a problem, they gladly held it for me. They also have amazing wine related gifts. I will definitely be coming here for future wines and gifts!

I concur with Katie F., Sip is the best wine shop around. Simon is a real wine person; he and his well-selected staff have helped me to find wines that I enjoy and to present to friends as gifts. You cannot go wrong here!

Woohoo! A FTR and now done my holiday shopping with 2 weeks to go! This is one of my favorite wine stores in the GVR and definitely a must-stop for any BC wine lover. They don’t carry wines from other countries and with their focus on BC vineyards, they carry a number of choices not available at the BC provincial liquor stores. Staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. Wine tastings are run periodically. The store is small but well-stocked with the Okanagan and Island vineyards from mainstream ones like Summerhill, Mission Hill, etc… to less mainstream vineyards like Church & State. Fabulous! Grabbed a bottle of C&S’s Quintessential, the 2009 Best Red Wine of the Year and a few knick nacks to go. Many choices to suit a variety of budgets. You’ll definitely find something you like if you’re a BC wine fan!
