I really love Fish and Chips. I grew up on it. It’s probably my favorite fast food. I have had some really good and some really bad fish and chips over the years. Pisces is a real oddball. How often do you see a Chinese family make F&C and also East Indian dishes? This place is my other favorites in Richmond for F&C. The other is Dave’s. Pajos is always a major let down. The F&C here is actually rather good. The fish is fried relatively consistently. However, it’s really not my ideal place because I really don’t care for the ambience and how the restaurant looks inside. It has no character and the staff just serve you your grub and leave you alone. It lacks the personal or human touch. That’s why I rate it 3.5 stars.

Ever crave fish and chips with a side of butter chicken? Perhaps I’m the only one, but if you try it you would love it too! Their selection of Indian food is varied and delicious! My favourites are the butter chicken, aloo gobi and samosas, but I’ve tried many of their curries and pakoras and have been very pleased with all. The catering menu also looks really reasonably priced, a great option for a baby shower etc. Their lunch and dinner specials are also a great deal. I order take out from here at least a couple times a month. Friendly service too!

Decent fish and chips in a well run friendly restaurant. The fries are always fresh and hot, and they give me extra tarter sauce since I’ve learned to love mixing a little ketchup and tarter with the fries. The fish is good, at least a 3⁄5. We’ll bump it to a 4⁄5 for the fries and peeps! The service is always very welcoming. You won’t go wrong here.

I’m visiting from United States went with my family and ordered some Indian food and fish and chips. The food I ordered was butter chicken and butter naan. The chicken tasted horrible and it was tasteless. It did not even look like butter chicken. It was just plain chicken with tomato sauce. The lady was so rude and just gave silly excuses. The naan wasn’t a naan, it was plain roti. It wasn’t even cooked in a tandoori oven. I would never go again. I wouldn’t recommend it to anybody.

What an odd combination for a restaurant, fish and chips and Indian food. But… it wasn’t bad. The place was very clean and the service nice and friendly. Not a big place, but there is seating available. The dishes reasonable, salads from $ 8, meat dishes such as Butter Prawns $ 15 to Butter Chicken $ 11. There are also veggies dishes like Mutter Paneer for $ 9. You can also have your battered fish and chips(cod, halibut, salmon) with a calamari platter. I enjoyed the grilled halibut a lot. There’s lots of parking because it’s in the Terra Nova Shopping Centre.

Still a rock solid joint to get your fish n chips and Indian cuisine all rolled up into one. Look out for their lunch specials @ $ 8 bucks and dinner specials for just under $ 12.00. You can also get Butter Prawns if you want a change up from the Chicken. And there is Lamb Curry too. Served with Basmati rice and Naan bread. There are actually quite a number of Veggie options like Alu Gobi and Chana Masala and then there are the salads as well. Don’t forget about the fish and chips too. And guess what? They have Mushy Peas for $ 1.45! Now isn’t that amazing?

I can’t think of a stranger combination of two polar opposite foods in one restaurant but yes, you heard it– fish and chips and Indian food in one establishment! The Indian menu has about 5 items. I shared the butter chicken($ 10.99) and the lamb curry($ 12.99) with a friend. The lamb curry was my favourite of the two. Really good sized portion full of meat and sauce. Two people can share one order of rice($ 3.25) and the naan was fresh not the«fresh out of a clay oven» type, but still ok. While having dinner, two plates of fish and chips passed us, they looked and smelled quite good. I think I’d still venture to Steveston Village if I felt like fish n chips, but I’d go back for Indian if I was in the area.

We go for the homestyle Indian food but have never had a bad meal no matter what we’ve ordered. The lunch specials are great if you’re in the area. Run by the nicest people and possibly the cleanest restaurant I’ve ever been in.

It’s too hot to cook so we thought we’d try a new place close to work… it’s advertised as fish and chips and indian — what a funny combo! I’m usually not a fan of the«combo» restos since it reminds me of those horrid Chinese and American combo restos in small towns that are such a disservice to both cuisines. This place is a pleasant surprise. We did go with both, with an order of fish and chips with coleslaw, and a butter chicken with rice, naan and raita. I was pleasantly surprised by the F&C — just as good as what’s down in the village with a nice crisp batter and great fries. The Indian food was A-OK as well(the resto is run by an Indian family) and the raita was excellent. The only disappointment was the naan — it was quite dense, but I suspect it’s because it’s not freshly made in the clay oven(I don’t think they have one at the back). Menu is limited since it’s a small resto but it carries 4 selections of meat/seafood curries and some vegetarian options too. Overall a nice resto with basic décor but very good service. I was pleasantly surprised by the combo of F&C and Indian; good stop if you and your partner are craving different things but don’t want to make 2 stops!

We went to Pisces a few times they had good fish and chips, we both ordered the habit 2 piece. It was a little pricey $ 13 – 14 but the food came fast and the staff was friendly. I wish we had known about the all you can eat, because it wasn’t advertised anywhere.

Once a week they have an all you can eat fish and chips, however there is a little secret about this joint. It’s run by an Indian family and they actually have some incredibly delicious home style Indian food on the menu. Don’t miss out! You cant’ tell from the outside it just looks like a regular fish ‘n chips joint
