This place gives me the feels. Mm Mm Mmm. I’ve been getting my bubble tea fix here ever since high school. Every time I’m up here on the food court level I get nostalgic because the good tastes and good prices persist. One of the best Honey Milk Tea with pearls. I never had to vary my sugar with them, they always have just the right amount of sweetness and the tea flavour is subtle but definitely there. The pearls are ALWAYS chewy and fresh, I’m never left in a pearl disappointment. I love their Che Lung Bing, which is a taiwanese pastry made from what tastes like crêpe batter but molded into a thicker round wheel that is stuffed with delicious red bean, cheese, radish or custard. They are amazing when they are freshly made, the pastry is sweet, soft and chewy with a crisp outer layer. The cheese and radish fillings are salty and savoury against the sweet pastry. The red bean is traditional, and the custard is creamy and sweet, it’s like dessert. Perfect little snack to go with your bubble tea. They offer a wide range of other drinks from green teas, black teas, fruit drinks, and slushes. The service from this family-run business is always friendly and they are pretty quick considering how they are always bombarded with thirsty customers. Their english is great. Cash Only. The only downside to getting here is the crazy and tight parking in the Richmond Public Market area but it’s worth it for the bubble tea!

This is hands down the best bubble tea spot in Richmond and one of the top 3 spots in all of the lower mainland in my opinion. Located in the Richmond public market food court, Peanuts is a little tough to get to and a bit out of the way for some people but if you have the chance you should for sure stop by. Their milk teas are widely considered the best you can get anywhere and with tons of choices/cheapish prices, you can’t really go wrong. My favorite here is the green apple slush, a go to of mine since high school, I’ve never had a better one anywhere else. Also, as others have mentioned, they have these little cakes with different fillings that are amazing. Coconut and chocolate are perfection ! They have them at the night market but here they are so much cheaper and better. Overall a great product, nice staff and good prices deserve a 5 star rating. Just a warning, the underground parking in the center is extremely narrow and usually jam packed. Also there is street parking around but most of it is paid.

The pearls were too mushy but the tea tasted decent.

Great bubble tea for a very reasonable price. The people who work there are really friendly and helpful.

Friendly staff. They should put the list of toppings out like other bubble tea places do. Average quality drinks which match their prices.

Probably one of the best bubble tea places out there. The real taro milk tea flavour is rich and tasteful. Highly recommended. Drinks: 5⁄5 Service: 5⁄5 Value: 5⁄5

They use real fruit for fruity flavored milk tea, e.g. kiwi, which is a really nice surprise. As a result, the milk tea is fresh and tasty.

Still my favourite daytime bubble tea places. I only get the regular milk/green milk teas as its some of the perfect balanced milk teas you can find in Richmond. Pearls are always perfect; Never too chewy. They’ve only had 1 price hike that I’ve known since 15+ years ago.

My favourite bbt place so far! Quick, consistent, plus they have those wheel snack things which our favourite is the cheese. Theyre friendly as well. For the taste, the price is decent. The only thing im not too happy with are their pearls. There are times its overcooked. The pearls at chatime are my favourite as of now. But seriously, for those that have not yet been here should definitely drop by! You can also ask for less sweetness too but its not as specific as chatime with the percentage of sweetness and ice. I highly recommend this place!

Very cheap bubble tea. So many flavors to choose from that it took me a good 10 minutes to actually decide what I wanted. Of course I am not going to say no to Pearls. Service that day was a bit slow as they were busy but over all good experience. I recommend the Mango one.

Definitely my favourite bubble tea place! I love asking for both pearls and coconut jellys in my bubble tea!

imho, the best bubble tea café in all of Greater Vancouver. Legit, authentic ingredients and flavors. The pearls were perfect QQ*. No substitutes, no shortcuts, no half-assed bubble tea baristas. Prices are better than anywhere else this side of the Pacific Ocean. *QQ is a taiwanese term describing the texture and consistency of certain foods, commonly udon noodles and the sago pearl bubbles in bubble tea. Taiwanese usually like the noodle or bubbles to be somewhat chewy, a bit similar to a softer al dente in pasta.

This bubble tea place has been around for so long. It’s always busy and it never changes. The pastries thing they sell is also great! My favorite is the cheese one

This is one of the original bubble tea joints to open up in the lower mainland. Family run, very friendly, and make great drinks and snacks! Their tapioca pearls are always consistent and are always adding new flavours to their menu. They’ve been around for almost 20 years and I hope they continue for many more!

Unfortunately, the last two times I visited Peanuts in January and early March, the pearls were absolutely awful. They tasted like they had spoiled and made me want to vomit. The milk tea was okay, but I’m scared of their pearls now. I thought they would’ve discovered that their pearls were bad in two months’ time and buy new ones, but no. Just to be safe, I ordered bubble tea with grass jelly instead. Their milk tea is very milky and doesn’t have much tea flavour to it. But I think it’s quite refreshing. The grass jelly was quite soft and smooth and easy to get at with the straw. The drink was finished within ten minutes.

This is a nice mom and pop shop. The jasmine green tea with pearl had a nice strong tea flavor. The pearls were also very chewy. The mini waffle desserts were good and very fresh… with many flavor of fillings to choose from. The red bean and custard ones were good. The prices are decent. This shop is located inside the Public Market and there is parking in a connected parking structure.

I love their che lu beng. Bubble teas are not super creamy but still a great price and good service. Ask for half sweet for the non cream drinks. I like how you can get a ton of combinations and they don’t tell u «no» we can’t do that. I don’t like their hot bbts as much as other places.

On the second floor of the Richmond Public Market. Offers an assortment of drinks and off to the side an employee makes che lung bing, which is a round cake like cookie stuffed with your choice red bean, cheese, cream, radish, coconut, and peanut. We had tried the red bean, coconut, and peanut. The cookie itself is jam packed with the stuffing, they aren’t skimpy on the good stuff. Flaky on the outside and the real stuff in the middle-chunks of red bean, shreds of coconut and chunky peanuts. The regular sized drinks here are also bay area version of large at milk tea shops. This place offers powdered and real fruit taro milk tea, just like estea! Without a doubt I’m drinking the real stuff. It’s creamy and they seem to have pulverized the fruit as there were no chunks to bite on, which is fine with me. Still a fabulous drink just as it should taste like. Chewy pearls.

This place has been around in Richmond for so many years and I think it’s been at Richmond Public Market since it opened. I recall coming here in highschool and it still continues to have some of the best pricing for decent bubble tea around. It’ amazing how their prices really haven’t increased all that much. In addition to the various flavours you can get, they also have tiny little dessert pastries that are filled with red bean and a few other fillings. If you’re ever at RPM picking up fresh produce, I’d highly recommend coming upstairs and grabbing a drink.
