Ok Tire Stores

My car broke down at the grocery store and I had it towed to OK Tire, a recommendation through my tow truck driver. Samson, the owner of the shop was more than accommodating. He told me the problem within a few hours and had the part delivered and installed by the next day. My bf went to pick me up with my car after the repairs were complete and again went to the grocery store. Car wouldn’t turn over. Again, had to get it towed but OK Tire was not open. When I got home I called Samson on his cell and told him what had happen. He told me he would look at it first thing in the morning. Next morning he called me before they even opened and told me it was my starter that was the problem. I told him my situation wasn’t that great and out of the kindness of his heart, he ordered he part, installed it and did not charge me labor. Yes it was a pain having to get my car towed twice but he made the situation a bit better. He even threw in a free tow for me if it should happen again within the next 6 months. My tire went flat and i had to call the tow company. While they were changing the wheel, they mentioned that it was beyond fixable and i would have to get a new tire. That was very bad news as I drove a 4-​wheel drive which meant that potentially all the tires had to be bought. I called Kal Tire and immediately they said it would cost $ 900. I called OK twice and at first I wasn’t sure they had time for me. When I visited them, Samson (owner and manager) not only inspected my tire immediately but he inflated it and let it sit overnight at his store. The next day, the tire was in perfect condition and didn’t need to be replaced. I drove back on my spare and Samson swapped tired for me ASAP within 10 minutes. I recommended to family and they too got excellent service.

I came here cause of a friend who recomended this location. He’s been coming here for quite awhile when it came to snow tires and sports tires and such. I came here in need of a set of tires for ice racing and indeed, I found a set of great snow tires that you could get studs put in.
It was quite easy to get done. I dropped off the car, they put on the tires. simple as that. The staff seemed nice. It’s a small place, typical looking garage and not like one of those Corporate type stores. So the service you get here is, well, old school. You get what you get and that’s a good thing. The last time I went to get some tires at one of those shiny corporate tire shops, I had the guy trying to tell me what tires I should use for my car and he wasn’t listening to me, the customer! I had enough of that nonsense and found a good bunch of guys here at OK tire.
