If I could give this place zero stars I would. I’m not picky whatsoever, but this is by far the worst sushi place EVER! Your local walmart sushi is 100 times better than this. The service was horrible. They only have 7 menus for the whole restaurant. The salmon and tuna looked like it had been rotting, and the taste was NOT fresh at all. The appetizers were microwaved frozen food, I heard them microwave it as I waited for the food. The restaurant was completely empty, however they still took forever to bring our sushi out. The service was horrible, they didn’t even check on us. I wouldn’t be surprised if this place shuts down soon. Save your money and go get some McDonald’s across the street.

We heard that Richmond had really delicious Asian food and opted to check out this area. Originally, we wanted to get some Chinese food but all the places seemed to be closed because we wanted to eat at 4:30 p.m. Given the time of day, we decided to try Jun Sushi located to the other restaurant we had initially wanted to go. The 11.99 all you can eat sushi signs lured us in. When we arrived, the people working there didn’t seem very friendly. She handed us a list that we needed to fill out on what we wanted. The menu didn’t have any descriptions as to what was in the sushi so we blindly ordered based on our limited knowledge of sushi. Sadly to say, the food borderline mediocre/below average. The taste wasn’t too spectacular. The salad was bland where there was just iceberg lettuce with some dressing on top. We ordered the gyozas but they were Chinese styled dumplings. The rolls were okay. When we ordered the katsu and teriyaki chicken, it came in this super tiny bowl. Since there were only two people working at the restaurant(the waitress doubled as a cook), the food came out really slow. It took her at least 10 minutes before she could stop by and take our food order. I was sorely disappointed coming here. Also, on the next day, my party got a not so fun surprise of Montezuma’s Revenge from eating the food here. I’m not 100% sure whether or not this was resulted because of the food we ate at this restaurant but the likelihood of a majority of the people in our group got«la du zhe»(mandarin for an upset stomach) makes me suspect the sushi we ate here. I wanted to give this restaurant one star but since I’m uncertain about the upset stomach situation, I’ll give it two. Anyways, don’t come here because you might have to run to the bathroom afterwards.

nothing special, just fills the need for a craving. California roll is what one expects, plenty out there even for this value. Parking pretty limited as many of the spots are reserved for the surrounding businesses. not authentic, not surprising in richmond lol. a place not to be seen on your bad hair day.
