Jaguar Land Rover of Richmond

I bought a car from them a year ago. They were really helpful in sorting out the paperwork and the warranty options. All the staff were helpful and friendly.
Since then the car has been back for a couple of things, so I’ve dealt with the service Department more now than the sale department.
Of course they are busy, but they have always been helpful and professional.
Overall I have been very impressed. The car we bought is fabulous, and all the support from the team there has been brilliant.
I certainly plan to return there for servicing and when we need a replacement.

Do Not buy or take your vehicle here for repair. They are crooks.
I have given them one star because I cannot put zero or a negative number.
They sold be a truck that had major issues and they new about it I later found out from the previous owners. The truck was returned to them and they then sold it on as though there was nothing wrong. Except all the electrical issues. The warranty was rejected and the dealer claimed they could get around this. I think that might be fraud.
Anyways, if you want to avoid problems and having your hard earned money taken from you then steer clear of this dealership also known as Cowell Imports.

Generally good experience with the service group. They dealt with making sure we had an appropriate loaner for the few days our Rover was in the shop.
I find the team to be fairly busy which is fine, however I have experienced a few times where they take awhile to acknowledge me standing there as they talk about something that is clearly not urgent with each other.
Price of course is high being luxury vehicles and in the GVA, but not horrible. I also find that options are given and if you ask a few questions you realize what actually needs to get done vs the extras package. Would love to see this more directly approached vs the need to dig which would get an extra star from me but probable cost them hundreds of thousands a year.

Mere words are difficult to emphasize the unprofessional sales service we experienced here. Frank the sales person obviously thinks we still live in a world where females are second citizens. I had test drove an M3 earlier in the week, with no real difficulty, then decided to go back with my female partner to see if she was comfortable with the SMG. The obstacles thrown at her by the sales person were plenty and ridiculous.
I test drove the car the previous day without bureaucracy. I brought a trade-​in vehicle (much more valuable car) as planned, the next day.
Now, I was told that I would have to hand over my credit card and meet the finance manager in order to show the car to my female partner. A 10 year old sub-​$ 20,000 dollar car. We were left in the showroom for vast periods of time without any clear communication. In fact, the communications taking place in the background between Frank and the so-​called boss, were not in english. This was completely different from the day prior where it was just me, the man.
Since there was such a lack of respect to acknowledge the female present, and the utter ignorance & disrespectful attitude, we ended walking away from a sure purchase.
I will never buy a car from there, and I will tell everyone I know about my terrible experience there.
