Crest & Crown Lash and Beauty Bar

Received a Classic Set of lashes by Am Nanara, she was so informative and genuinely wanted me to be happy with the service — which I absolutely was! The entire session was so comfortable, she even put cooling/​soothing Q10 strips underneath my eyes.
I am in love with my lashes, I get comments constantly on how I have the most beautiful natural lashes (shhh our secret) and I will never have to wear mascara again. I highly recommend Crest and Crown, you will not be disappointed.

First time getting lash extensions was here, and after the first time I’m addicted!!! They have so many different options and they really help you to pick what combo of curls or different lash lengths etc. Works best for your eyelashes. I’ve received exceptional customer service and had Rebecca (Jr tech) and Michelle (Sr) both do my lashes. Great experiences with both, the biggest difference between the two was that Michelle was able to apply the lashes faster but Rebecca did them really well too. I’ve heard horror stories of real lashes falling out etc. From other places and mine are pretty thin to begin with but the crest and crown team really knows what they’re doing. I wanted longer extensions but Michelle warned that my lashes wouldn’t be able to handle them and she was right so I only got them once for a special occasion. She showed that she cared about the customer (me!) and not just about «getting the job done.» I’d recommend it to anyone who wants to have long nice lashes all the time and not have to worry about mascara… Or in my case I wouldn’t be able to achieve the same look with mascara because mine are too short to begin with. Worth the money!

Went in and saw Joan at the Burnaby location; very happy with the lashes and service I received. Not only did they comp my service but also upgraded me. Excellent customer service! Joan is a pro– very professional and my lashes look better then ever extra fluffy; with some techs I can see the adhesive and the lashes look too thick or clumpy. 5 stars. Thx again!
Pretty sure the girl that did my lashes was sick; she was sniffling the whole time she was applying my lashes. The whole time I was there I was thinking «please don’t let me get sick.» Well I didn’t get sick but I soon noticed that my eye started to hurt, it got super red and puffy and now a few days later I have a sty infection. Moral of this story, if you notice anyone sniffing do not allow them to touch your eyes. They should not allow their staff to work with a cold when they are touching your eyes. I would have rather canceled my appt had I known in advance.

It’s a nice place to get eyelash extension. I had my appointment with Sydney, who is a junior technician. However, she did a great job just like a pro. They are having 50% discount for all the junior technicians which is very good deal. The quality is actually not bad and I love the fact that the lashes can last long and feel comfortable wearing it when showering. Heads up: better make a appointment asap as they are quite busy all week round.

Warning: extremely long review based on 4 techs and 2 clients. A month ago, my bestie and I decided to get lash extensions as were going to the Carribean for a week and didn’t want to bring any makeup on our trip but still wanted to look like we had mascara on. I had seen Crest & Crown on IG and my friend’s sister recommended C&C to me — her lashes looked gorgeous so I went with her recommendation super excited. It was even better that they were doing promos for 50% off sets and 25% off fills with junior techs! I had a junior tech for my first appointment and let me tell you it was hell. I felt everything on my eye and she even poked me once! It hurt so much I actually shouted Ouch! I was on the bed really wanting it to be done with :(Bestie had the same tech right after me and said the same thing… She didn’t get poked but she felt everything too. My friend’s sister told me afterwards that it shouldn’t have felt like that and that she had a friend who even fell asleep during her appointment! Anyway, I still booked my fill like two days before my trip (the lashes looked nice) but soon realized I wanted something more dramatic that would show up in pictures so I called C&C to see if I could upgrade to the Royal set or one of the volume sets. Nicky is awesome. I forgot to mention this at the beginning but she was extremely good at explaining things to me over the phone and in person and she tried so hard to get me an appointment for the volume set. It was just too bad it didn’t work with my schedule and the trip. I ended up getting the Royal and the senior tech I got at the beginning was pretty good (she had just turned a senior tech). I didn’t feel much when she was removing my lashes which made me like her a lot but she left halfway and Michelle took over. Michelle is AMAZING and I had no idea she was one of the owners until checking out. She was so good and I swear I almost fell asleep. My lashes were so beautiful and I received a lot of compliments from the pictures I posted on my trip (score)!! I couldn’t get Michelle again for my second fill so I kept the senior tech I got before Michelle. She was OK this time — my complaints are that she was on her phone some of the time (yes the client can tell) and it hurt like once for a second when she was removing or glueing the lash. Anyway, C&C is a good place for lash extensions but you need to be careful who you get. Bestie loved Michelle as well but got someone else for her second fill and said she still felt something (not pain) and this person was on her phone too (not the one I had). ⁵⁄₅ for Michelle and Nicky, but I had to make it a 4 based on the other techs (there is a big difference between a junior and senior tech). I’m still getting fills for maintenance because they honestly look really nice and I can get out of the house in 5 minutes (just be careful who you get like I said).

My experience at Crest and Crown was such a good experience. Two weeks later, I haven’t lost a lash at all. Definitely would recommend coming here!

Calm, clean and relaxing atmosphere, I had Lisa as my technician, she was friendly and did a great job on my lashes. I’ve gotten my eyelashes done before at another place and they completely ruined my lashes so I was skeptical going into crest and crown, but I can confidently say that they did an outstanding job with applying every lash and I am really happy with the results. I went with the half set for a more natural look and I am definitely coming back again!

The girls at Crest & Crown do everything and anything they can to make sure the client is completely happy before walking out the doors. Joan, Michelle and all the girls there go above and beyond for their clients.
I have had my lashes done here every 2 weeks since they first opened and have not stopped. The great thing about Crest & Crown is that you can keep coming back to get your fills done as long as you get in within 4 weeks. I always book my appointments in advance as they are in such high demand that they are focussing on their existing clients and unable to take new clients (unless you book with a junior tech). What does that say? That says Crest & Crown is the best in Vancouver. They are the luxury brand eyelash bar in Vancouver.
My experience is nothing less than spectacular every time and I feel more like friends with the girls there rather than a «client». I go there so often because it genuinely makes me happy to visit these girls.
If you want to go to a super pretty, relaxing, comfortable, professional and clean lash bar that practices a phenomenal lash technique (that I have yet to see is better from any other lash bar), then this is the place to be. Eyelash extensions aren’t supposed to make your lashes fall out and the technique that is used at Crest & Crown actually make them healthier if anything. Everyone there is very educated and you can ask just about anything and each and every one of those girls will be able to give you a thorough explanation all the way through. I can go on and on and on about this lash bar, this isn’t even a quarter of what I want to say but it would be way too long! But trust me on this, there is a reason why they have 5 stars over and over and over. They have been open since 2013 and have opened 2 additional stores (Burnaby and Kits) which are all owned and operated by the same original staff (not a franchise like Noir) which means quality is ALWAYS on top. There is NO other place better than Crest & Crown.

The atmosphere is soothing and chic. Everyone is really sweet and accommodating. I booked an appointment with Am (it’s 50% off for appointments with junior technicians) for the classic set (60 lashes per eye).
The procedure area is quiet and soothing. Aromatherapy is going on and there are comfortable beds to lie on and I was offered blankets and drinks. I ended up falling asleep a few times, haha.
The whole process took about an hour — there was some confusion because I ended up paying for the half set (30 lashes per eye). I told Am I wanted a natural look so she did that instead of the classic set. I’m happy with it though — it makes me look like I’ve got naturally long lashes with a bit of mascara.
Definitely recommend this place, especially with the 50% off special. I hope to come back for more sessions for sure!

I’ve been coming to C&C for a year and a half. I got a dramatic set to start (80 lashes per eye) and a fill every 2 – 3 weeks to keep my lashes looking pristine all the time. I’ve gotten countless compliments on my lashes the past year and so many people ask how I get amazing lashes that are so natural looking. My favorite part is that I no longer need to wear any eye makeup. I do my skincare routine in the morning, pat on Korean BB cushion, and I’m out the door. Michelle and Joan are amazing at their work. The only downside would be that their prices have increased quite significantly and you have to book weeks in advance for appointments because the place is getting really popular.

I love Crest & Crown! A friend had recommended me to go there and while I was skeptical about how lash extensions will look and feel, this experience has completely convinced me to come back again and again!
The ladies here are extremely professional from the administrator at the front desk, to the lash technicians themselves! I have had my lashes done by almost all the techs there and I get the results I want every time!

I have been recommended to Crest and Crown months ago and decided to try it recently.
I was only looking for a new place to get my lashes done because my lash lady was out of town for quite a while. So I proceeded with my recommendation and booked an appointment.
I must say initially results looked amazing, but it only lasted for a week on my lashes. By the time week three came my lashes are basically bare. Now that I am back with my original lash lady I am more than pleased with the results, the aftercare is the same but I don’t see lashes falling out until week three and even then it’s only a few, not the whole set.
My experience was awful, I regret going back more than three times just to give them more chances.
Definitely not worth the money, especially with their new policy with charging per lash rather than a flat rate of X amount of weeks since you got your last fill. Such a rip off, some people have different lash cycles than others. It’ll cost be a brand new set if I get a fill every three weeks when they count per lash. Not worth it for that quality of glue.

This is the second time I’ve had my lashes done, the first time I hated them, my lashes fell out in clumps and I could feel the fake ones on my skin.
Joan invited me in to try their services and I was skeptical to say the least. After laying down on the warm bed with a blanket and smelling the aromatherapy I was instantly relaxed. She began the process and it was nothing like I had done in the past. After about an hour I was shown a mirror and LOVED the results! I had joined the club! I could not stop looking at myself and felt like a million bucks!
Joan went through aftercare with me and provided me with a mini brush to separate my lashes. I loved the education that was provided and the natural products used — Ladies it DOES make a difference! No burning, stinging or hurting.
If you have had lashes and didn’t like them in the past this IS the NEW place to try, you will LOVE your results!

My first time getting it done and I love how they turned out! Sandy helped me and sold me on getting the upgrade to classic and was very informative and helpful in the consultation and the process. It was a very pleasant experience and i will definitely come back for my fills! :)

Update:
So, after getting my lashes done a few times, I made a decision that I wanted to have long lashes all the time. I am totally handicapped when it comes to self-​application lashes. Now, I come on a weekly basis cause I like to have it perfect.
Every single time I come, Crest and Crown does an amazing and consistent job. This week, I had my lashes done by Celise. This was my first time by her and I have to say, she is so fantastic. Very nice style, neat, and long lasting. Another plus is that she is very patient in explaining and answering my billion technical (and even personal questions… haha). If it is your first time getting lashes and your kind of scared. Don’t be scurrrrrred. Just ask away any question you have!
Some additional comments: I have never gotten an eye infection or irritation coming to Crest and Crown. I also know that they use the highest quality lashes and glue, so no cheap-​made-​in-​Thailand-​lady-​boy sh*t. It’s the good stuff. Also, they keep the studio very clean (compared to some of the other studios out there) and they wash all their linen after one use.
Anyway, I really highly recommend Celise. Koko is also great and most often fully booked. The other techs are all very professional and it’s hard to rate each one because they are all very consistent and have lots of experience. Just go!

Wow, Crest & Crown Lash and Beauty Bar is by far my favorite lash bar! I’m including all of Vancouver, Burnaby and Richmond. From start to finish, they have been nothing short of professional and have far exceeded my expectations in customer service.
This is a No-​Baby salon, but Joan was accommodating and helped me watch my daughter and even rock the stroller while I quickly received my mini facial. It’s suppose to be 20 minutes, but I had to cut it short since my daughter starting fussing. Just a note, that this is not the norm and there was miscommunication so don’t expect to bring your baby in.
Mini Facial: Sandy was so sweet and patient. She was talkative without being fake (well, as far as I can tell) and even asked if I preferred talking or zoning out. She also offered to talk me through what products she’s using or if I preferred, she will just complete the treatment without mentioning the products.
Lash Extension: Sylvia is a pro. This girl knows what she’s doing and was extremely easy to talk to. She pays attention to every little detail and will walk you through the process. I had to have my baby in my lap the entire session and Sylvia even helped me pick up a toy my daughter had dropped a couple times. In the end, my lashes turned out beautifully and I can wake up without applying makeup. Perfect for my vacation coming up.
I won’t bring my baby next time, but how they handled the situation was very much appreciated.
Such talented, friendly, young and non-​pretentious girls at this salon. It’s a treat to be able to fully relax and enjoy myself.

No one has paid as much attention to the consultation/​explanation part as much as Crest & Crown… and believe me, I’ve had lashes done many times at other places! It instantly made me feel like they knew what they were doing. They asked me what length I wanted my lashes, what thickness, and explained features of each. There were a few technicians there, so my senior tech Sylvia was able to point out some real life examples to help me choose. I’ve been to other places where the techs aren’t even wearing lash extensions, so what does that say?
Crest & Crown have these amazingly comfy padded spa tables, and gauzy curtains… better than the blinding fluorescent lighting and awkward couches I’ve had to lay on in the past. Everything there looks and feels bright, clean, and sanitary. It’s modern and trendy, but classic at the same time. It’s a place where you can really relax.
Sylvia was so great! She told me about the two types of glue they use, and kept checking to see if I was doing ok. She made me feel at ease. No stinging or tears from the glue, and she even applied under-​eye gel pads which is supposed to treat dark circles. I’m usually kind of shy at beauty appointments with people I’ve just met, but she was friendly, and brought out my chatty side… until I fell half-​asleep listening to awesome acoustic cover songs. That’s another thing — music at other lash places always seem to blast crazy loud EDM, or screechy power pop… all well and good at a dance party, but when the whole appointment is you lazing about with your eyes closed… how do you relax with that?
Anyway, this was such a refreshing experience! It was like I woke up from a deep sleep & suddenly became more gorgeous, haha. I highly recommend getting the dramatic set. It’s an instant pick-​me-​up!

I have never had a facial for lash extensions before and the staff at Crest & Crown were amazing! Upon entry you’re greeted by their friendly staff; offering you drinks and chatting with you. I decided to go all out and pamper myself. Besides they had an awesome special where they had $ 30 off eye lash extensions with a purchase of a YonKa facial.
Facial: Sandy is EXCELLENT! I’ve had basic cheap chinese facials before from my mother’s referrals but I will never go back to them again after experiencing my facial with Sandy. She is knowledgeable, patient and so friendly. She explained what she was doing every step of the way since I was such a newbie with the whole process. She never pressured me into purchasing the product and she does an awesome job of recommending different ways to change up my face cleansing process. At the end of the whole process, she wrote down all the different products she used and the regimen she would recommend but never asked me to purchase anything. (I did anyways). On the plus side, her facials come with an amazing neck and shoulder massage. I’m a volleyball player so my muscles are tense so she asked me how hard I wanted my massage. She is surprisingly strong.
Lashes: I got my lashes done by Joan. She was also super friendly and very patient with my questions. She explained what products they used and the process. She made sure I wasn’t uncomfortable and she did such a great job! I expected the whole process to take a long time but it was super fast! I’m not big on make up and beauty stuff so when I told Joan that I wanted something extremely natural, she completely understood. I love my lashes! They look great and I’ve gotten so many compliments! I’m pretty sure I’m going to make it part of my monthly routine! I can wake up in the morning and I don’t need to apply anything!

I really enjoyed my experience at Crest & Crown! Michelle was super friendly, gentle, and approachable. She also did a fantastic job explaining the details of the extensions and the differences between my first experience at another salon, and theirs. I really appreciated that she took the time to ask about my previous experiences, what I’d like to change, and how I’d like the end product to look.
I was looking for something that would –really– make my eyes pop, and to drastically cut down on morning prep time. Disclosing my secrets: considering I generally use two to three different mascaras on my lashes (curl, lengthen, plump), I needed these extensions to not only replicate, but to do better.
I’m glad I went with the dramatic set! Lashes are VA-​VA-​VOOOOOM! And I don’t even have to use eyeliner. Perfect.
I have high hopes for this company and can see them doing great things. I’ve been more than happy to recommend them to everyone left and right.
While I’m not generally someone who will spend $$$ to primp and preen, this might be on my new year’s new routine.
