Christine’s Grooming Studio

I’ve been taking my dogs to Christine’s for almost 10 years now and have always had a great experience. Her staff are so good with dogs and really listen to how I like my two dogs groomed. My husky is very prone to ear infections and they do a great job of making sure they stay dry at his appointments. Love this place!

They asked me to take my dog to the vet to have his claws trimmed because he was very uncomfortable with the process and they didn’t want him to be traumatized with going there. They are taking the dog’s best interest into consideration which means a lot to me. As much as I appreciate their honesty and concern for my dog, I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because it’s a little inconvenient to visit the vet who seem to charge $ 15 – 20 per nail trim and then the cost of the grooming. But I am happy with them and one of their newest regular customers.

Christine and the other groomers are wonderful people. They all seem to have a passion for what they do, and my puppy loves going there, evidenced by her pulling at the leash as soon as we step out of the car when we arrive for her grooming session. They are very accommodating, and will make every effort to work around your schedule.
They take instruction fairly well, and cut my puppy per my request, and offer recommendations as to what may work best with other things that I had not thought about.
One point to note is that they are very patient with puppies, which was extremely important to me, given that the first impression and experience at a groomers would be the one that would set the stage for how she would view future visits. There was not a problem at all… very pleased with Christine’s.
Prices are reasonable as well.

Don’t go to this dog groomer, they cut my dog with clippers from head to toe (and by cut, I mean thousands of tiny lacerations on her skin, not just the hair). The cuts were so bad that my dog could not walk properly, due to the scabs pulling the skin when she moved. When I questioned them about why they did this, they exclaimed that I requested the hair be cut as short as possible in a rude and defensive manner, needless to say, short as possible should not translate into physical harm to an animal. This is abuse. The employees were rude and my poor dog was traumatized. I’ll never be back, and I’d recommend you stay away, since they lack common sense on how to treat an animal.

I was challenged to find a good groomer to cut my dog’s nails as she HATES getting her nails cut and she is so sensitive even if I touch her paws as I accidently cut her quick before and she remembers.
I was at the local shelter, they hightly recommended her as Christine volunteers to groom dogs at RAPS.
So another friend 12 years ago also suggested Christine, so I decided well I got 2 people telling me she is very good, why not give it a try!
So I went there, the cutting was so fast, perfect, and cheap! Only 5 bucks.
I had to assist in holding my dog, but she was so quick with all 4 paws and then also did a mini touch up to shave the pads, a little clip around the head, and paws and finished with a free cute bandanna.
She saved me so much stress as the last one told me not to come back and over charged me $ 20 + tax.
I hardly write reviews, but if your dog hates nails being clipped, THIS IS THE GROOMER YOU WANT TO GO TO, as she is experienced, fast and totally affordable.
Her grooming fees for full groom are average, but if you see the dogs she finish grooming, they are ADORABLE!
