If you’ve ever been interested in Chinese musical instruments like Erhu and Guzheng, this is perhaps the only place in Vancouver that you can find them at. Owners also give lessons on the instruments but they don’t speak English very well as they’re from China.
I took some Erhu (two-​stringed fiddle) lessons there years ago and I must say I enjoyed it despite how it is a very frustrating instrument to learn. The Guzheng is basically like a cross between a piano a harp.
Even if you don’t plan on taking lessons, it’s still interesting to stop by if you’re in the area to have a look at the instruments.
Aside from Chinese folk instruments, they also sell other general music-​related odds and ends such as music stands, tuners, metronomes, and strings for Erhu and Guzheng.
