Too much of a good thing can turn bad — unfortunately due the popularity of this once fine establishment the service has steadily gone downhill. The reception area is in a real need of cleaning and updating. Piles of tires (Used?) sit inside and the chairs are dirty. The parking lot is strewn with old cars that need to be junked and the worst is the last time I had my car serviced the mechanic put the wrong radiator cap back and radiator fluid leaked all over and created a dangerous driving condition. My sister who also brought her car in for a typical oil change had oil leaks all over the inside of the engine area that wasn’t cleaned properly and leaked all over her driveway!
I no longer trust the mechanics at Oscar — but I do trust Oscar if HE’S the one working on my car. I am now searching for a new mechanic. I hope Oscar takes the time to bring back the good service he use to provide.

I’ve known Oscar since they first opened shop… more than 10 years ago. Over the years I’ve recommended my family members and my friends and ALL of them have received excellent service. We have brought in American-​made cars, Korean and Japanese-​made cars to Oscar… from vans to hatchbacks and sedans. You know you have a great mechanic when guys in towtrucks know who Acutech is even before you mention it. The flipside? the parking area can get very full so if you can, have someone drop you off and fetch you when your car is done.

I have been going to see Oscar Seto the owner of Acutech for about 10 years. His unquestionable integrity has been demonstrated time and again. Many Auto repair businesses are in it for immediate transaction and not for the long haul. Acutech is all about having customers for life. I have referred countless friends and relatives over the years to Acutech.
i now live in Sechelt, but still take my vehicle to Acutech when I am in Richmond.
