History

Established in 1979.

The very first Select Sandwich location was founded in 1979, when Brian Kahn, a man passionate about restaurant operations and food preparation, decided to open his own restaurant. His goal was to create a fresh, healthy and affordable menu for his customers.

Brian’s talent and enthusiasm, as well as his dedication to customer service, old-​fashioned values and great taste, quickly proved to be a perfect combination. The success of his first restaurant inspired him to develop the Select Sandwich chain, offering a dine-​in menu and a corporate catering menu to his valued customers.
