I was very happy to found out that they have nut/tree nut free cupcakes. Also they have gluten free cupcakes. Ladies at the counter were very pleasant.

Normally I don’t bash small business, but this place is a big no no for customized order. Today I picked up a fondant character cake for my sons bday. At the time of placing order I requested for all kosher ingredients and Anna was happy to oblige and went about checking each ingredient and showing it to me only to replace chocolate cream with vanilla cream without my knowledge. I as a Muslim cannot consume it because vanilla extract contains alcohol. The cake itself was impossible to cut and it was too crumbly, if you have a customer who is picking up a cake for school than its your responsibility to make sure that it is at room temperature. By the way it’s at room temp now and still very crumbly. She could have taken this opportunity to do her best as everyone wanted to know the name of her bakery after seeing the cake, that is only till they start eating it. Good place for regular baked good but they need some more skills to get there for customized cake. $ 175 for a 4 layer 8 inch cake. And do take a receipt in which she writes down what needs to be delivered I did not so she replaced the buttercream and told me this is what she does for children. Never going back very unprofessional relaxed attitude.

An awesome bakery, they always have fresh cakes, brownies and other sweet treats. This is the best PEANUTFREE bakery in York region, hands down. I got a Toopy and Beeno Birthday cake with mocha frosting on this inside and it looke GREAT and taseted heavenly. Other Ginger Favourites are the Ginger Cookie Sandwich with cream cheese frosting, the cupcakes and macaroon brownies, YUM! Highly recommended!

I ordered two dozen of mini cupcakes for my friend’s baby shower. There are many selection of flavours and they have even made baby onesies and milk bottles! We all loved the cupcakes and I even had four of them! The two ladies at the shop was also very friendly when I visited to pick them up. A very good cupcake option in uptown!

$ 32 for a dozen cupcake. Price increased! The cupcakes were moist, soft and spongy; they were fresh and not too sweet. The lady put the icing right in front of us. Icing was sweet but it balanced out their cupcakes. They said that they had all flavours on the board… then when I placed my order, they told me they ran out of red velvet: I was so disappointed! Then after I pick 6 cupcakes in chocolate; they told me they ran out of chocolate cupcakes and told me to try their banana cupcakes… sigh… Anyway, the best among all their flavours that were available was cookie dough. I am not sure if I want to go back and try their red velvet… if I do, I will update my review.

I’ve been ordering from Anna for two years now for special occasions and she has always delivered my visions! I first came to her for my boyfriend’s birthday for customized cupcakes. My boyfriend loves to fish so having that said, she created these amazing cupcakes for a great value based on a few ideas I pitched. Her cupcakes range about $ 3.50 and for each cupcake that requires fondant or any types of decorations, there is an extra cost that is super reasonable. The first time I called for a consultation, I had told her that I was debating between her and We Bake in Heels. WBIH was just too expensive at the time and so as soon as she said, «Well I don’t bake in heels but I bake in Birkenstocks.», she won me over. Since then, I have been recommending her to a few friends of mine who have been more than satisfied with her lovely baked creations. I highly recommend her to anyone who loves to support small businesses, who want value for their money and those who have great party ideas and needs someone to execute it :)
