Yes they have bread, cookies and jams, but the reason you go to Garni is their cream puffs. . They do not use diluted stuff, no whipped cream no instant stuff but rich tasty light actual cream in the tasty shell. Who can say that nowadays? Also tasty breads from Iran I think but the star here is the cream puffs. The real deal not fake ones. Deducted a point because I have been there and they don’t have them sometimes and there is no real schedule on when they will become available.

Garni Bakery has the best barbari bread and gata in the GTA. However, the display cases are often barely half stocked, and what stock they do have is very unpredictable. Which is to say, you may walk in with the intention of buying gata or berok, but find that they don’t have any on that day. The biggest problem I have with Garni bakery is that none of the products have the prices listed anywhere and what I get charged for the same product varies week by week. This seems to me to be bad business practice and as a customer, I do not appreciate being charged a different amount at the whims of the cashier for the same product each time I go. On principle, I tend to avoid the bakery for this reason.

Almost non-existence service. Nothing inside the shop. Their display shelves are half empty. But anyway my purpose is to buy cookies from this place. And their cookie lack of a neighborhood bakery feel. I bought few from the what they have. Honestly… I like the bakery down the street more. It feels more welcoming. And their cookies are way better then this place. will not come back.

I used to work on this plaza for a couple years and these guys are at work early in the morning. Food there is very fresh and tasty. I really appreciate what they do and I respect owner of the place. If you want fresh bakery this is the place where you have to go. As early you there as more bakery you have to choose from.

It breaks my heart to say that there is literally no place in the mid-Atlantic United States to get decent barbari bread. On the other hand, it delights me to say that I have family and friends who live in Toronto and come to visit me often enough that I get to enjoy barbari bread that is so good, it reminds me of my childhood days in Tehran, sitting around a table with my grandfather eating«noon-o-paneer»(feta and barbari) with«chayee shirin»(sweet tea). The mere fact that biting into a warm, fresh piece of barbari from Garni can elicit such sweet memories for someone who hasn’t been to her home country in over 28 years says a lot. I’m so thankful my cousins brought me enough on their trip to DC to fill one of my freezers. Although I’m not sure it’ll last more than a few weeks, as the memories it brings back are worth eating it non-stop and staying in a carb-coma of sweet Persian memories.

This place has one of the best barbari breads in the gta, unfortunately the service is bad and the bread is frequently not available.
