Class in Action is a website designed to connect teachers with ways to find new and meaningful learning opportunities for their students. We look for unique experiences in the community that can capture the attention of children and give them a chance to see how the concepts they are learning in school can be applied in the real world. Class in Action makes it easy for teachers to discover excursions that will place their students in the middle of the curriculum or find experienced specialists that can bring further understanding into their classrooms.

Learning often occurs in places and at times that may not be predictable. Class in Action searches out these opportunities. This website was created by teachers who have designed lessons for many learners of various ages, in a variety of settings. We will work with organizations and establishments to develop innovative programming that facilitates education in schools and increases exposure in local communities.
