History
Established in 1996.
Dr. Allan Hum started this optometry practice as a solo practioner before being joined by Dr. Carolyn Wong in 2002. Together they have generated a friendly atmosphere where patients feel welcomed back year after year. Eye health has always been a top priority so they have invested in making Optomap Retinal Imaging available to all of their patients since 2010.

Business Owner
Dr. Allan Hum was born and raised in Toronto. He graduated from the School of Optometry at the University of Waterloo in 1994. As part of his schooling, Dr. Hum did a clinical rotation at the Omni Eye Services in Atlanta which specialized in clinical pathology. After graduation, he practiced in Pickering and Oshawa before opening this practice in Richmond Hill in 1996. He has extensive experience co-managing refractive surgery patients.
In July 2011, Dr. Hum completed a comprehensive course on Therapeutic Pharmaceutical Agents at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. As a result, he has the ability and expertise to prescribe medications for various eye diseases.
