Sobeys

It is great when they actually are open when they say they will be. I’ve gone 3 times in the past month and they’ve been closed at 11pm. If you can’t manage the staff to actually be open 24 hours then take down the big banner bragging about it.

All grocery stores should be 24/​7, it’s just so convenient!
I really appreciate that this store is open ²⁴⁄₇. It means that even when you’re watching a movie at midnight and you realize you don’t have any more popcorn, you can just drive a couple of blocks and grab some more. They have quite a large selection of fresh fruits and vegetables including a variety of seasonal items. The meat selection was also quite extensive and seemed to offer all the cuts you may need.
I was really impressed by the size of their gluten free food selection, as well as all of the organic options they also offer. The store had everything that I intended to purchase (as well as some I didn’t intend to), and they had many different options available. I appreciated the fact that the store was set up nearly identically to the other Sobeys locations I have been to across Alberta.
If you ever need some groceries, Sobeys is your place even if it’s four in the morning!
